KENNY GILBERT TESTIMONIAL
A Ross County Select will play host to Glasgow Rangers FC on Tuesday 16 November at 7.30pm at Victoria Park, Dingwall in a testimonial match for Kenny Gilbert, who was one of the finest young men ever to wear a Ross County shirt.
Kenny was forced to retire from professional football at the age of 27 due to a number of serious eye conditions. At his time of forced retirement Ross County were at their highest ever placing within Scottish football, finishing third in the Bells 1st Division in season 2002/2003.
At the end of his playing career Kenny kindly wrote off the remainder of his three year contract to ensure the club was not detrimentally affected. The testimonial has been organised as a means of giving something back to Kenny.
He is now enjoying success as assistant manager at Deveronvale FC and is also pursuing a career within insurance sales, which takes him all over Scotland.
Ticket prices are £10 for adults and £5 for children. Corporate dining is also available which includes a two course buffet, stand seating, a programme, team lines and a cash bar facility all for £40.
Tickets are available on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 from Victoria Park between 9am and 5pm. There will also be a cash gate on the night.
For further information or to book corporate dining please contact Morven Reid on 07764763177.
