  1. I'll be there. Its costing a fortune in flights and hotels but I couldn't care less. It might be the fact that I don't get to many games due to location but I've got that buzz for this one.

  2. I dont understand why there is this lack of buzz. Yes it is Celtic and its an awful Ko time on such a limited day when it comes to travel but we took 7000 to our last semi at Hampden and we weren't even a top flight club then. This is our first semi final in this tournament which is far more prestigious than the league cup and yet if it 2000 is a disgrace. At least make sure we get more than a usual home game. This is no slight on anyone who cant go we all have our reason and there are logistical problems for travel as I have said but why should we be struggling. I will be there and so will the other hard core fans that travel each week to back the team but I feel sorry for the players. We know we are going to be out numbered but to be excited to play at hampden and only see a few thousand in a game where they will need everyone of us to help them is disappointing. I hope come 12.15 on sunday that we will have more and maybe get towards 5000 as a figure that i think is fairly respectful although judging by the sounds of it we may not even make half of that

  3. What is this all about "a lack of buzz"? The only people I feel a lack of buzz from are the people that are saying there is one. I'm blooming mega buzzing and so is everyone that I know who supports ICT.

  4. Those will be the same stewards that looked round confused when those two lads skegged Paul Gallacher a while back and scored a goal

  5. I think he still attends games as a Main Stand supporter, he was a very good boss to work for!

  6. In truth I think that those citing the 12.15 kick off as the reason for not going are mostly making an excuse. If it was 3.00 they would probably be saying it's too late on a Sunday cos they have to work on Monday. Of course there will be some who can't make it for perfectly good reasons but by and large those that want to be there will be there. I don't think our numbers will be great but as long as those that are there get behind the team then the team will get a lift from that. They will need one too - a Griffiths hat-trick tonight shows that he is a player on form and we will need to be on our very best form to beat Celtic on Sunday.

  7. I see Dundee have 4 games in their home city, and the other one is on telly!

  8. I said achievable, not expected! I'd love to see what a semi-final win would do for performances - could galvanise this team. Much against DU will depend on the first game against them. They're not great at the moment and if we win that one, they might be scunnered for the second because they won't catch us. Dundee away? Done that already this year. St. Johnstone away I always fear because we've had some gubbings off them when we have least expected it but they don't seem to be the team they have been in the past few seasons. Aberdeen? Depends on whether they are on their holidays or not and Celtic? Hopefully they will be all out for revenge. They can have that. So that's my thinking but it'll probably bear no resemblence to the actual event. That's football.

  9. I know we have been in some poor form that lets be honest could have been worse like Utd's for instance. People saying that we may struggle to pick up alot of points have to look at the other side of the coin. The other teams chasing us also have to play each other and could take points off each other. Apart from Celtic and Aberdeen everyone else are very evenly matched. The Dundee Clubs will be tight especially with difference in form and the fact the dark blues have their tales up after breaking their derby hoodo. St Johnstone have been to tannadice and comfortably beaten Utd this season and on their day can match anyone after drawing with Aberdeen and winning at Parkhead. So even if we continue to be a bit dodgy the other clubs may do us a favour. Another thing in our favour is that four of the teams have got more than just points to play for because of location. Aberdeen and Utd wont want to lose to each other St Johnstone and Dundee are derbies so even if they mathematically cant catch us they will still want to beat Utd for pride and even finishing above them. Looking at us we narrowly lost to Aberdeen on three occasions and we certainly could have taken something at Christmas. We outplayed St Johnstone last time we played them and i know that Perth is not our happiest hunting ground but we can certainly beat them. Dundee have not been impressive in any game we have faced them and we were unlucky not to win a few weeks ago. And then the UTD games itself well they are not going to relish coming north twice so lets be positive. As Davie has said it has been fine margins in this poor run and one win could make everything different and we end the season strongly.

  10. I'd expect us to beat Dundee and Saints if we were at home, but as it is we are away, and won't be bookies favourites for either match. Nevertheless I will be there and will hope for a perfectly achievable win each time. Anyway, if we could somehow win both games v Utd, the other matches don't really matter!

  11. Sadly, can't disagree. Frankly, expecting to win games usually ends in disappointment. The only games we might expect to win at the moment would be against St Mirren and Hamilton. So, the only way that we might expect to win games post-split is to have been in the bottom half! Not sure anybody would have preferred that! The whole point of getting in the top 6 is that you get to play the best in the country, so, yes, they'll be tough: wouldn't want it any other way. I'm sure DU are not relishing 2 games against both us and Aberdeen + 1 against Celtic + 2x Tayside derbies. Match their results and we're in 3rd.

  12. We all support the club, we are all behind the team and want them to win but please excuse some of us for tinging expectation with realism based on recent results and performances. The club is indeed fantastic which is why, happy clappers or not, we all back it fully...

  13. What a bloody attitude !!! As I have said before inverness does not deserve the team we have . Constant negativity from both so called supporters and those who never bother going to a game !!3rd in the league and in the semi final of Scottish cup , aye I suppose that's a pretty poor effort for a club with such vast resources .Get a grip and get down and back our fantastic club !

  16. I like Marley and if he stays I will be very happy but........ We have been here before and as far as I am aware we are going to have our best season ever ( in terms of league placings and at least a cup semi final). We have lost players like Bingham, Mann, Robson, Wyness, Dods, Rooney, Hayes, Rankin, Cowie, Wilson to name a few and always seem to come back stronger and better.

  17. As tremendous as the TNS poll looks, it's pretty old data but entertaining nonetheless. With Labour holding huge majorities in a lot of seats it needs a massive swing for the SNP to win, and while polls have them mopping up just now, even a very slight Labour recovery could see them turn obliteration into just a massacre. Milliband won't get close to a majority, IMO, regardless of how they perform in Scotland anyway. However, even better than the polls, news today that hot on the heels of being stomped on by Ed Balls, Jim Murphy's shameless, flat out lies have been exposed again by his own Uk Labour masters. "We won't make cuts in Scotland" said Jim, repeatedly in the debates, and as recently as yesterday. Really Jim? Chukka Umunna delivered the biggest slap down to date for Murphy in confirming the cuts as Labour appear to be conceding defeat in Scotland. ... "The leader of Scottish Labour will not be in charge of the UK budget" https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=8-OUxLmxNi0

  18. Achtung! I actually find it hilarious listening to to the British nationalists continually bleating about the referendum, which they won FFS, and how it's all the SNP are interested in. It goes some way in explaining the mentality of UK Labours northern branch and the contempt to which many in Scotland now hold for them. When Scotland was promised change, told we were valued in the UK, and voted to remain in this "family of nations", was it somewhere in the small print that we weren't then allowed to vote SNP? In a democracy, are campaigners and political parties required to abandon their views, stop making their case and go away? In the face of a barrage of UK propaganda and almost complete media opposition, 9 out of every 20 people in Scotland voted Yes, many in the hope of charting a different path to the one offered by centuries of London rule. The simple fact of the matter is that the issue of Independence will never be "put to bed" as the British nationalists would wish. Scotland is moving forward, democracy will be heard, and if the UK fails us it will likely be what leads us to the next referendum, through a majority voting for it at Holyrood. The SNP, or any unionist party, have no right whatsoever to rule out any referendum, for any period of time, except the term they may be elected to at Holyrood. That said, I haven't seen many Yes supporters advocating another referendum soon, nor does the SNP. If it's even going in their 2016 Scottish election manifesto is itself debatable just now. They will off course always seek to bring new powers to Holyrood. But all this only suits the Labour GE15 rhetoric. The fact is, for the general election, Labour and the Tories have ruled out full fiscal autonomy for Scotland. So why the hell are they still talking about it?... Because they are crapping it at the thought of Scotland actually having a voice in Westminster. As irony meters explode, some are even calling this undemocratic. And still these same people scratch their heads as to why we'd vote SNP. What the London based unionist parties are offering is three similar shades of Sh**e. More austerity, more cuts, a decrease to the Scottish block grant and a further squeeze on public services and pressure on those that can least afford it. But still, 100 billion is spunked on renewing trident. 50 billion on HS2. Big business dodge tax while the benefits of the poor and disabled are targeted. The piece de resistance for me, paedophile sex offenders are protected by the official secrets act. I'll give as much of that a miss as I can if you don't mind. The SNP, Greens and Plaid are offering the option for to push an alternative, progressive path with the influence that a strong voice in Westminster will give in a hung parliament. And Westminster needs that voice to ensure Scotland gets all that was promised to it and protection from the rest.

    • Dundee United 1-1 Inverness CT - Report
Hopes amongst the Caley Jags support were at rock bottom ahead of this one with the threat of relegation looming large. With all hands to the pumps, Shaw, Boyes and Ujdur were brought back into the squad whilst not really 100% fit. Shaw started as did Pepple and Boyes with Billy Mckay, Lawal and Danny Devine dropping to the bench. Cammy Harper was given the Captain's armband today. It's a daunting task going to the lions den to face title favourites but underdog is our preferred tag. Anyway, 252 of them turned up at Tannadice in eternal hope and Duffy heightened the intensity only for Louis Moult to level things up. That's how it ended, a result we would have bitten your hand off before kick off.

    • Inverness CT 1-2 Ayr United - Report
Having sat through one of the worst games for many a year there is little to hope for now apart from Arbroath to keep losing because we certainly appear to find it difficult to win. We have no game changers in our squad and our manager is playing the wrong type of anti-football to help our cause. Big Dunc thought we were the better team. Pleeeeeaaase, give me a break! We were second to everything and Ayr were always one step ahead of us after the first three minutes. SHOCKER springs to mind.

    • Inverness CT 0-0 Airdrieonians - Report
These two sides looked as though they could play for the whole of March without scoring. In terms of opportunities, the hosts probably shaded it, but when we did miss the first defender, crosses invariably went behind the incoming strikers. On the one occasion we got on the end of the ball Billy Mckay's flicked header was cleared away from goal by Kanayo Megwa.
Not the worst 0-0 draw ever, but scoring opportunities were at a premium. Neither keeper was overly troubled and this game had scoreless written all over it given the evidence of the first twenty minutes.

    • Inverness CT -V- Airdrieonians - Preview
Promoted Airdrie are sitting in fifth place in the table, just below the play-off places with former Caley Jag Nikolay Todorov getting amongst the goals and he will provide a big test for our central defence. We have found Airdrie a difficult proposition at times this season but we did win the last home encounter against them.

    • Morton 0-2 Inverness CT - Report
What a start for Inverness and Billy Mckay, who answered his abusers from last week by opening the scoring in the second minute, firing into the top corner after an assist from Cammy Harper. Robbie Muirhead looked to respond but Mark Ridgers was equal to his effort in the fifth minute. Ten minutes before the interval Sean McAllister curled in a low free kick from the edge of the box to double our advantage and open his scoring account at Inverness. Plenty of bookings but no further scoring saw Inverness pick up a vital three points in the relegation battle although we still remain in ninth spot but only two points from Dunfermline in fifth.
