  1. Definitely be there. Can we get in the social club when it's Well rather than Gretna?
  2. CaleyD stuck to his guns and refused to remove the banner so the stewards just gave up. Feck knows why they were filming. They can ban me anyway, doubtful whether I'll be back at TCS before the end of the season.
  3. Brewster cannae manage and Malky cannae coach, pretty obvious what the solution is.
  4. I've often slated Wood in the past so it's only fair to say I thought he did well this week. I thought Duncan put in a decent shift too but that's about it. Imrie's been making progress this season but this week I thought he was back to his raw self of last year. Poor.
  5. CaleyD and Uncle Albert had banners saying 'Brew Out'. They filmed everybody sitting around them in section G by the sound of it.
  6. Any ICT fans on Traynor this week? He's tended just to swat us away up till now, seems to think Brew is doing a good job just keeping us near the bottom where we should be. I sent a text but dunno whether they read it out. We did have an email right at the start but we put the programme off in order to listen to my , er, excellent selection of music :thumb04: And so endeth my 2000th post
  7. :D :thumb04: :018: ;) That was Caley100, ask him yourself! Well done to big Don today. Coolness personified big man, the stewards just gave up and went away. Next time anybody criticises CaleyD for being a yes-man should remember that. However I got a call on my moby from Mairi to say I was now famous as CaleyD and everybody nearby were all being photographed by the 'security police' or whatever they're called :015: :D :P :021: Hope they got Caley100 giving them the vickys :D
  8. I don't know what the f*ck*ng point is just repeating everything. Just back in darkest Midlothian from a totally shambolic performance. Maybe I should mention that in the car was Naelifts. He won't thank me for mentioning this.... Not a lot of people know what Naelifts has done dozens of times in order to see ICT. This morning he finished a nightshift at 8 o'clock in Peebles, then a couple of hours later he was on the way to TCS. 30 mins stop at Ballinluig and 20 mins in the Innes bar pre-match. Then after the game, straight down the A9 to start another nightshift at 8. All so he could watch that shite.
  9. We had a lassie at our school called Kimberley Clark....... yep, naming your daughter after a brand of toilet roll.
  10. 1) No 'sting in his shot' aged 29. Entering the realms of fantasy now :thumb04: :018: ;) What? Just quoting what you said Chris! Sounds a bit daft to me....... Yes I did Fair enuff. Respect :015:
  11. Is this a serious thread? OK, QOS used to be the 'Doonhammers' because some striking carpenters had too much time and decided to start a football club, and over the years the correct spelling was lost. Or maybe it's because Dumfries is called 'doon hame' by exiles. Back in the 1950s two clubs dominated world football: Cowdenbeath and Brazil FC. People had a problem distinguishing between the two, whose styles were almost identical. However, as fate would have it, one played in yellow and the other in blue. Or maybe about 15 years ago when Cowdenbeath were running away with the old second division, some lads had a pint or two too many in the Goth and got carried away with describing the team's efforts.
  12. Surely the words 'at least one' are key?
  13. Great thread guys, even if it shows some people have too much time
  14. Oh well, water under the bridge now Stevico (or maybe 'over the bridge') :thumb04:
  15. 1) He was signed from Aberdeen as a midfielder. Credit to Denzil then that he managed to become ICT's all-time top scorer. 2) You never went on Saturday did you? 1) No 'sting in his shot' aged 29. Entering the realms of fantasy now ;) :thumb04: :018: 2) I only ever played amateur, but even there I could tell that fitba is 75% motivation. 3) You never went either, did you? Unlike some, I never thought Denzil was a world-beater, but he's well capable of playing in the bottom half of the SPL.
  16. I never saw them coming out either (too early to expect them) but suddenly they were all just standing there on their tod - it's true the Midden were out ages after.
  17. It was kinda gut-wrenching watching Denzil in action on Saturday. We haven't had much chance to see him play in the last couple of years, yet there he was, just like in the old days under Pele, which he describes as probably the happiest in his career. Linking up, doing all the trademark shuffles and suchlike. Sticks in the craw to see him doing that in somebody else's colours. Ach feckit, I'm away for another drink......
  18. They got humped at Dingwall once in the league wearing all yellow, 1992. Never wore it again AFAIK.
  19. They're mostly shite, but I did like Greg Lake back in my studenty days. I've got a good download from Lambchop called '**** Christmas'.
  20. As an old fogey I got some old stuff on CD (all these downloaders mean you can get CDs for about 3 or 4 quid at Borders). Old Stuff: George Harrison - All Things Must Pass Neil Young - Harvest, Rust Never Sleeps Nick Drake - Pink Moon, Five Leaves Left New stuff: Regina Spektor The Chair
