  1. Word is wrong. So tell us more CD
  2. Smell of power struggle going on here. Word has it that Sandy Catto invested a further £250k last year to keep these people out but has now been shafted big style!
  3. Don't think so Caley D cos there was no Football Trust talked about at that time. Maybe others who attended that meeting could back me up? Long time ago I know but surely there must be someone on this site who was also at that meeting?
  4. Yes but he also stated that the Tulloch/Sutherland shares would be transferred to the supporters trust after 5 years if my memory serves me correctly.
  5. If the beloved builder kept his word when he insisted the "Members Club" voting rights be transferred to the Supporters Trust, the fans would have a very significant, infact almost controlling interest in our club by now. How words can be so shallow - it happens every day in football - NOT a business/people to be trusted in any way!
  6. Brill, Blue & White Home and Red & Black Away - bring it on
  7. Personally I would scrap U19 and replace with U21 with an allowance of 2 U23 players in any game. It would cost more but as I said in previous post, the SFA (not SPL) should heavily subsidise each club.
  8. or maybe hes just passionate and wants the club to win. it not like those of us in the stands reacted any different. I dare say he is passionate and wants to win but he should be showing his leadership skills and this is not the way to do it.
  9. I find that dificult to believe as Duncan Shearer is about as good as we will get for this job. Maybe the results are getting to them - maybe the club is putting too much pressure on them to achieve results. If players are "not caring" then it shows we are wasting time and money on them. Skill is something which they can learn but if the attitude is wrong then they have no hope - they should be somewhere else.
  10. I still think TB & MM are as good as we are going to get and would totally agree that managers should have time to build. However, our budget is very limited so we can't, although we do, expect our managers to perform miracles. We should however expect to see some structure and stability in the squad but with all the loan signings I just can't see how this can be achieved.
  11. Can I just ask those who are unhappy with TB & MM who they see as suitable replacements at the same or less money or if they are available?
  12. There is no way any captain should react in such a way under any circumstances. He seems to me to be a bit of a bully, maybe just like his manager?
  13. Personally I feel we put too much pressure on these kids to win and we tend to judge them all on results. We shouldn't forget that they are apprentices on a learning curve and clubs are guilty of sending too many of them to the scrap heap too early. It doesn't really matter that we beat Aberdeen what does matter is what did each player learn from the game and all the other games we have lost. The important thing is how many of this squad has the potential to progress to the next level which unfortunately is the first team squad. The step up is too big so I would suggest considerstion be given to a national U21 or U23 level subsidised heavily by the SFA. The only alternative is to reatin those who have potential (a costly option to the club) and have an arrangement with Elgin and SHFL clubs for a season's loan to see if they can cope with the more physical game. My feeling is that if the game continues on this route we, as a club with limited resources, will not be able to produce our own talent and we will always be dependent on short term loan deals. Will this take us forward and secure our prem league future?
  14. So have I MYWEHORNOWEH
  15. He has taken the first step with his appointment as a director BEFORE we have the Muirfield money. We'll wait and see how long it takes him to become Chairman. I hear what you say Caley D but it's not unusual to be told porkies when this type of situation arises.
  16. So the Tulloch shares have been transferred to a Trust, controlled by the builder - wow what a difference! Richard Smith now on board but still no money. I justcan't see why Sutherland would give up control for £250k? I'm sure you are also aware that Mr Smith has very strong connections with our Mr Sutherland - very convenient!
  17. But does anyone know if we have their money yet?
  18. Nice guy, loyal employee but NOT the quality we need for SPL. He really would be better finding a club where he played regular first team football and the fans appreciated him. Some people on here should take a look at themselves first and leave the boy to get on with his job. :annoyed:
  19. I wonder if we have the money yet. Smithy seems comfortable in the black seats and I haven't seen Sandy Catto for a while.I still feel it strange that £250k buys so much power?
  20. R U sure there was air travel when you got wed Alex? :love02:
  21. All very well TUG but they can't wait til the window to get the high earners off the books so some will be getting redundo notices very shortly.
  22. I personally feel he is a good manager - how he managed to do the East Fife job whilst working and living in Sneck always baffled me
  23. No. Mark was in the Ross County youth before joining Hearts. Ally Ridgers was at ICT. Dont know if they're related. brothers and... there's another goalkeeping brother, Willie, who was at Nairn, Rothes and now Strathspey Thistle. How many families could boast having 3 goalkeepers in the family?
  24. I've just heard that Richard Smith (new investors rep) is about to be named as our new chairman. Anyone got any info?
