  1. Again, no one said they should run out to an empty stand. The fact of the matter is you can probably create an awesome atmosphere without swearing every 4 seconds and putting families from the local area off coming to the matches, at the end of the day there's more of them than there of of Section G potentially.
  2. I don't remember anyone ever suggesting that, so...
  3. Not sure if I can travel really, takes about 4 hours to get there from here. Will have a look for hotels in Perth and see if there's anywhere cheap!
  4. Actually Georgious I think your obvious comparison/opinion over me due to my low post count is bull *****. I'm 24 and have been following the club since they were formed in 1994 and have been a regular at matches since we moved back to the TC Stadium. So... Oh, and I enjoyed the atmosphere yesterday, and I do every match. I do sit in the Main Stand but only because I feel the view is far better there - but I love the atmosphere you boys create and personally I see nothing wrong with calling the Singwall ******** a gypsy. BUT, I can just see where the club, police, other fans are coming from and it is quite clear that it's foul language at times and it's hardly fair on the kids and families that go to the game - who, incidentally, theres probably far more of than those in section G. The club don't want to kill the atmosphere they just want matches to be as enjoyable as possible for EVERYONE including me, you, everyone else at the games. Brewster's @rse chants were epic by the way.
  5. What someone else said before, basically. Theres loads (like me) who have been reading the boards for a while, 3 or 4 months in my case but sometimes don't feel the need to post their opinions etc, and instead just register when they've got something strong to say.
  6. Read my post then try to reply again, because clearly you didn't actually thoroughly read my point and think about it before you moaned, again. There's nothing wrong with not supporting a team when there not the best in the world, go and support Rangers or Celtic instead, there generally always celebrating success.
  7. In a cafe with WiFi on the way to the game today - never spotted it before! About half way there.
  8. I don't really think it is. Mainly because any bit of silverware is a good bit of silverware. A win today against County and a win in the final would certainly boost the team's long term confidence and set us up nicely for the rest of the season and hopefully promotion? Either way I would say it was far less important than the three other national comps. but still relatively important for the club.
  9. I make the 6 hour round trip to about half of all home games to support the club I love and I don't see the need to stop. If you have a problem bloody well write to the board or the supporters committee lot. I really doubt the club's going to take any action when there's a few empty seats here and there and theres some bub's ranting and moaning on an internet forum. I should imagine these 'lol lets boycott!!!11!1eleven!!11' people will be the first to complain and once again rant when the club is getting about 300 people to each match, in liquidation and has a team full of local schoolboys with little to no talent whatsoever. ?15 might not make much difference but 'every little helps' and if your supporting some kind of boycott plan just because of a few narky stewards then quite frankly your probably a Gypo yourself. If you love the club and are a true fan you'd still go to games when you can and take up issues with the club itself rather than a bloody internet forum. I have had a season ticket with the club since TC Stadium first opened in 19-whatever it was. It's a bloody chore getting to and from games but hell I couldn't care less if I have to sit down and not allowed to swear - it might actually help the local family attendance rise for once. Atleast it's still better than a match in the Bagshaw league!
  10. Would definitely play with Barrowman, Foran and either Sanchez/Rooney upfront. Rest of the squad is pretty thin at the minute so that'd be the best way to go today, Butcher won't though, he'll most likely play 4-4-2.
