  1. Newcastle - Everton Watford - Millwall Colchester - Southampton Rochdale - MK Dons Swindon - Walsall Airdrie - Ayr Alloa - East Fife Berwick - Elgin and don't rule out Blackpool - Chelsea
  2. Ignoring cup games, Divinitus is going for: Airdrie - Peterhead Rotherham - Crewe Elgin - Montrose Exeter - Huddersfield Yeovil - Charlton Chesterfield - Aldershot Hereford - Lincoln Wigan - Blackburn Brentford - Plymouth Morecambe - Cheltenham Northampton - Barnet Portsmouth - Derby Peterborough - Southampton And a few waterlogged pitches....
  3. 7 out of 10 on Tuesday made me some money but 2 out of 5 promptly gave it all away again on Wednesday.
  4. There's a big midweek programme coming up and the following games are tipped for both teams to score: Tuesday Forfar - East Fife (96%) Northampton - Crewe (84%) Livinscum - Brechin (81%) Exeter - Southampton ((80%) Peterborough - Sheffield Wednesday (80%) Aldershot - Barnet (80%) Southend - Oxford (80%) Stevenage - Gillingham (80%) Tranmere - Rochdale (79%) Yeovil - Plymouth (79%) Wednesday (slightly less certain from Bolton onwards...) Blackpool - West Ham (88%) Inverness - Dundee Utd (82%) Blackburn - Tottenham (81%) Bolton - Wolves (77%) Bristol Rovers - MK Dons (75%) Fulham - Newcastle (74%) Not To Score... County at QOTS and Dumbarton at Airdrie Interesting Stats: Forfar have scored in every home game while their opponents, East Fife, have scored and conceded in every away league match. Crewe have scored in every away match and conceded in 85% of them. Livinscum have scored in every home match while their opponents, Brechin, have scored in 90% of their away trips. Blackpool have scored and conceded in every home game while their opponents, West Ham, have conceded in every away game. Spurs have conceded in every away game (eleven of them). Dundee Utd have scored and conceded in 92% of their away games. Dumbarton haven't scored away in the league since 7th August.
  5. Jack Frost did some damage on Both To Score but the outcome was favourable. All four that were played came up. Less good was the NTS category where only Hull-QPR delivered (and a 0-0 job at that).
  6. Tipped games are: Forfar - Airdrie (91%) Livinscum - East Fife (89%) Annan - Queens Park (88%) Stranraer - Arbroath (88%) Walsall - Bristol Rovers (84%) Rochdale - Charlton (83%) Dumbarton - Brechin City (83%) Morecambe - Macclesfield (82%) And both teams not to score at: Hull - QPR Morton - County Ayr - Stennhousemuir
  7. With plenty of midweek action as teams play catchup, the following games are all rated at or above 75% for both teams to score: Southend United-Macclesfield Town (86%) St Mirren-Dundee United (86%) Blackpool-Manchester United (85%) Walsall-Oldham Athletic (85%) Colchester United-Peterborough United (83%) Hibernian-Rangers (82%) Portsmouth-Burnley (81%) Port Vale-Barnet (81%) Albion Rovers-Annan Athletic (79%) Hartlepool United-Notts County (76%) Swindon Town-Tranmere Rovers (76%) Hereford United-Morecambe (76%) Stevenage-Rotherham United (75%) Some relevant statistics surrounding the above games: Blackpool have scored and conceded in every home match Walsall have conceded in every home match and scored in three quarters of them Rangers have scored and conceded in 90% of away games (but are Hibs good enough to score even one?) St Mirren, Hibs, Portsmouth and Hartlepool have all conceded in 90%+ of home games this season Macclesfield, Dundee Utd and Barnet have all conceded in 90%+ of away games this season At the other end of the scale, St Johnstone-Motherwell and Millwall-Barnsley are both worthy of consideration for both teams NOT scoring...
  8. Going for the following this week: Kilmarnock-Dundee United Clyde-Albion Rovers Cowdenbeath-Partick Thistle Elgin City-Stranraer Newcastle United-Tottenham Hotspur Portsmouth-Leeds United Exeter City-Walsall Yeovil Town-Rochdale and both NOT to score at: Queen of the South-Ross County Raith Rovers-Morton East Fife-Dumbarton Arbroath-East Stirlingshire The mighty Dumbarton haven't scored away in the league since 7th August but they'll probably do it this week as East Fife can't keep a clean sheet at home unless they win 6-0 (which they've done twice but conceded in the rest)....
  9. Forfar-East Fife Postponed Berwick-Arbroath First time Berwick failed to score at home in the league this season! Alloa-Ayr More doom Albion-Montrose For Berwick, read Albion Rovers also!!! Annan-Elgin At last, some success Stranraer-Queens Park More success Stoke-Bolton Doom Rochdale-Orient Success Plymouth-Oldham Doom West Ham-Arsenal More doom Doncaster-Reading Even more doom Norwich-Cardiff Success Hartlepool-Dagenham Doom Walsall-Huddersfield Success My day is best summarised by the goings on at Firhill where I had a punt on both teams not to score. With Partick up 6-0 and Stirling down to ten men, the clock was approaching 92 minutes when Thistle gave a away a feckin' penalty.... Still, there'a always the midweek programme where the games at Rochdale, Dumbarton, Albion Rovers and Southend are tipped. Gringo, please keep yer hands in yer pockets this time....
  10. It took a 94th minute equaliser at Brentford but both games came up, making it 7 out of 8 for the card and I had single and doubles on for a nice 90% profit. The plan here is to win little and often rather than going for the big bang accumulator.
  11. Hillbillies are offering all of the above games online, with the exception of Forfar-East Fife. Both Teams To Score is filed under Football/Both Teams To Score. You can even bet on both teams not to score if you're that way inclined. Having looked at both sites, I find that Hillbillies offer the Teams to Score game on many, many more matches than Laddies, and, crucially, a lot of games in the lower divisions in England and Scotland where teams can't defend for toffee. By the way, did you know that Dumbarton haven't scored away from home in the league since August 7th. They're always worth keeping an eye on. Also, every league game that Ayr have played away from home this season has seen both teams score.
  12. 4 out of 8 was an indifferent start to proceedings last week but the crystal ball got back to winning ways in the week with 5/6 at Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield, Peterborough, Torquay and Blackppol. Only Dundee United went down the tubes. The midweek 8 game card concludes with the games at Brentford and Colchester tonight. The tips for both teams to score tomorrow, only some of which will be available at the bookies unfortunately, are: Forfar-East Fife (96% chance) Berwick-Arbroath (93%) Alloa-Ayr (92%) Albion-Montrose (92%) Annan-Elgin (86%) Stranraer-Queens Park (84%) Stoke-Bolton (82%) Rochdale-Orient (82%) Plymouth-Oldham (81%) West Ham-Arsenal (80%) Doncaster-Reading (80%) Norwich-Cardiff (80%) Hartlepool-Dagenham (80%) Walsall-Huddersfield (80%) In for a penny, in for ten pounds....
  13. With the games at Albion Rovers and Clyde having fallen victim to the weather, you might want to look closely at some of these to feed your addiction: Exeter-MK Dons (Exeter have scored in every home game and conceded in 80% of them) Oldham-Swindon (Oldham have scored in 80% of home games; Swindon have scored in 80% of away games and conceded in 90%). Aberdeen-East Fife (both teams have scored in every game that East Fife have played away from home this season; will Aberdeen manage even one?)
  14. Both teams to score: Dagenham-Rochdale Northampton-Cheltenham Shrewsbury-Morecambe Southend-Chesterfield Torquay-Carlisle Albion Rovers-Arbroath Clyde-Queens Park Rangers-Kilmarnock Bet ONLY the Singles and the Doubles; that's 36 bets in total. If five games come up, you'll make about 10% profit If six games come up, you'll make around 50% If seven games come up, you'll double your money And if all eight come up, you'll make 160% On the basis of all the games played so far this season, all of the above have a 75% chance of coming up...
