  1. That's my worry - might actually not be a bad thing if it was off tomorrow too....although who knows when this game would be played then!
  2. We WILL be having summer football at this rate....
  3. Me neither...Polly & Vigurs seem to get the brunt of the critism. Constructive & justified critism is fine - the constant barracking that they get isn't.
  4. It was noticeable how the game petered out, once Vigurs was subbed. One of our most important players. Definetly agree that both Polly & Vigurs were excellent Yesterday.
  5. Scarily prophetic...can you pick my lotto numbers, please?
  6. I meant from tbe club themselves, regarding merchandising. I thoroughly enjoyed the cup 3 years ago too - I made sure that I appreciated it fully, as I might never get ro experience it again. Obviously, the irn-bru cup doesn't compare to that ...certainly not expecting shop displays in Inverness, etc. My point (probably badly made...apologies!) is thst the club are doing a good bit to drum up interest, whereas they probably didn't have to do so for the cup, which I always felt was a bit of a missed opportunity, commercially speaking, for the club itself. Just saying that the club are doing a decent job of pushing the irn-bru cup final & drumming up interest, that's all.
  7. The club are making a decent attempt at marketing/promoting the final, hats off to them! Anyone else think that they are making a better job of marketing the so-called 'diddy' cup final (not by me, by the way - looking forward to it!) than our scottish cup final in 2015?
  8. David Raven & Owain Fon Williams...can't think who the other one was! I'll take a guess at Owain Tudur Jones....
  9. We aren't the same team - just the badge & a couple of the players. Rebuilding in progress!
  10. How could this season NOT be classed as a rebuilding exercise! Totally different scenario to the last relegation....new manager, badly depleted squad, very tight budget (player coming in were on about 25% of the pay of the top earners in premeir days, allegedly), boardroom turmoil. Last time, TB had already started rebuilding before we went down Totally unrealistic to expect a quick fire return to the top flight, I feel - expecting a serious promotion push next season though.
  11. Robbo has said as much....frustrating, to say the least.
  12. This is a good move by the club - which is why I'm suprised to read it! Seriously, though, it's good to see the club planning to marking our 25th anniversary
  13. If we don't go down, then we won't be the next Dunfermline...given that Brechin will finish bottom, it's just about avoiding 9th, which we are good enough to do, without being complacent. I'd quite happily take Dunfermline's position just now! No competition is a 'nothing' competition & I, for one, am looking forward to the Irn-Bru cup final.
  14. I got a great view of this at Pittodrie & have never forgiven Neil Lennon to this day for his disgraceful actions. Think I had to be persuaded not to run onto the pitch after Lennon myself!! I remember Juanjo being particularly upset, as his family were over from Spain to watch him play, if I remember correctly? Two things I took from that day - ICT were a decent team that could compete at that level & Neil Lennon was a cheating scumbag of a player...I may let this go one day, but not yet ? One of our more fondly remembered ex players - I was definetly a fan of Juanjo!
  15. That proved to be a very accurate prediction, Caman!
  16. Season ticket holders = 12th March. General public = 13th March. Was on twitter today
  17. Don't see why not - this season was all about rebuilding & regrouping....obviously still a work in progress!!
  18. Suspect this may be the case - the pitch has never been the same since we had to install the undersoil heating.
  19. Fair point, but for the team, it's the actual physicsal fitness that creeps in - me, its more about having my head screwed on!!
  20. It'll probably be Palmerston...just in case TNS had knocked out Dumbarton... For selfish reasons, hope it's Saturday 24th (as can't make it on the Sunday). McDairmid park would be decent (and will hopefully be the same outcome as in 2003!)
  21. Thought Vigurs played well, apart from the penalty miss...
  22. If only I'd made it to Parkheid that night - will watch the 'A night to remember' DVD at the earliest opportunity...! Made it to the sequel in 2003 though....happy days!
  23. I really like the idea of celebrating the 25th anniversary (true, it's not a centenary, but I won't live to see that, I'm sure!!). The celebration tops are interesting - I've got 1 of the 10th anniversary (I think...) tops (the one with the fans names on it), something like that would be fantastic. As for the star? It's a "no" from me - always saw (as others have said) stars above a badge as being to celebrate a European trophy (unless you're Sevco, of course....). But great idea, none the less...
