  1. If this was not a well informed debate and the decision based upon it surely there requires to be an investigation into how the council planning is operating. An independent investigation into the highland council planning department given that references have been made to previous planning decisions. Cannot see the way this was handled as being uniquely flawed. Unfortunately for ICT they now have to consider their options and the future direction of the club. As mentioned if a legal approach were taken it would be costly; where’s Digby Brown when you need him.
  2. The Harbingers of Doom are out in force now
  3. Scrappy game. Score the penalty early and probably a 1-0 win on the cards. Not to be and a stalemate ensued. In the circumstances Dunfermline ought to have went for it however despite a bit of late pressure couldn’t score either Bizaare we find ourselves with no midfield. We didn’t lose and a lot of effort from the team but needed a bit of quality. The proverbial relegation fight is on now…
  4. Every points a prisoner these days let’s not let any become escapees tonight Dunfermline will try to smuggle them out and spirit them doon the A9 However let’s be strong and resolute retain the points in the highlands. Explain ‘‘twas but a false dawn for poor Dunfermline” begone with zilch and lick thy wounds you mangy curs
  5. A lot of games you come away saying we didn’t deserve to lose and today would have been the same but for late equaliser. So hanging in really. Another big game Tuesday. Squeaky bum time
  6. Good player with a lot of experience and playing at right back will allow a bit of juggling keep the balls rolling
  7. I would echo a lot of what has been said and the main point being the need for another striker (one that can score goals preferably ) and for current players to be more direct in the final third. However that said we wuz robbed last night a ninja steal that. Also I was thinking the penalty decision would have been given in most other professional leagues at the moment; but really I came to the conclusion that it would actually have been given if it was at the other end of the pitch. Different subject the Dunfermline game cancelled due to waterlogged pitch ?? There’s a bit of debate around that one
  8. Ayr will be getting a few pelters for getting beat 3-0 by Morton. Would imagine they will be well fired up (to use an Ayrshire phrase) for Saturday. So all players at ICT will be required to step up and produce a good performance; more fired up than them. Re the Airdrie game: it’s not a good look trying to keep it tight and play other formations to then lose 2-0 . If you get away with your point or more fair enough but we all probably knew where it was heading as the g@me progressed. As the old saying goes the games come around quick so we have another go Saturday so let’s actually have a GO- fortune favours the brave…
  9. There are no excuses for that one unfortunately. The writing is on the wall. The sound of dropping _Plop plop plop… should really have went in 1-1 at half time but poor defending cost us. But hey we had another half to rectify it; . Very disappointing and a concern that we did not look like getting back into it despite Arbroath being average . Surely there ought to have been subs made before a last ditch triple sub Direction of travel has veered off target …
  10. I agree with others that was more difficult than expected probably due to a number of factors; not least of which was a fairly disjointed performance. Without the introduction of Wotherspoon and McKay it had nil nil written all over it; got to be a worry that However still unbeaten under Dunc and in the draw for the next round. I would imagine the upcoming game against Raith will provide a better barometer of the current status. So not overly concerned but maybe a reminder that there is still a lot of work to do. Let’s hope we get a good support to get behind the team for the Raith game. Winning that game would do a lot of good for everyone
  11. First twenty minutes was pretty even however there was quite a few missed passes from us and Ayr closing down. The first goal seemed to settle us and had the opposite effect on Ayr. From then only one team in the rest of the first half. Dreamland at 3-0 second half was a bit of a grind however Ayr lacked a cutting edge; they only got one through Ridgers generosity of the penalty gift to celebrate his 250th game Wotherspoon MOM trajectory upwards at the moment; fasten the seatbelts
  12. Ayr team stayed overnight in Inverness so they must be fancying a result today; hopefully we won’t oblige them . Three points for us would be right handy at this point in time
  13. Good effort all round today alongside some good football. Tremendous. This is a tough league and so keeping points coming in will be vital to maintaining a competitive edge and moving up the table. It is looking more possible to move up the table so keeping up the same level of effort will be required. Hopefully that will happen. Big Dunc is definitely creating a bit of a buzz about the place; I mean even some of the glory hunters are starting to turn up again … … Belief in the players own abilities appears to be rising again and I am sure that there will be a number of reasons for that but it is definitely a good thing to see as a fan… long may it continue…
  14. Sat deep and let Airdrie play in front most of the time and was a difficult watch in that sense. However as said it has to be about getting points at the moment and a win is a win. We let them have a bit too much of the ball and gave up possession too easy in the second half and nearly paid the price for it. Got to think there is a lot more to come from the team and considering the current state of play a good fighting win
  15. This will be a good test to start. As stated it is a fresh start for everyone so good luck and let’s get behind the team. Old Dick Campbell will be keen to turn us over no doubt so hopefully we can turn the tables. Duncan and Dick who will be smoked and who will be choked….
  16. It felt like you were waiting for a Dundee utd goal and when it didn’t come and they had a man sent off there was an opportunity to get a win. Unable to put the ball in the net = missed opportunity. Unable to clear ball and lose last minute poor goal; very familiar. Making a double sub before free kick leading up to the goal in hindsight was a poor decision. Probably harsh not getting a draw but that’s football and you win games by scoring goals. Blah blah blah blah…and so it goes on
