Going to my last post does not always work

Quite often when I access a thread I am sent to the first post as if I am accessing the thread for the first time. I always thought that I would be sent to my last posting automatically-which could be 3-4 pages away.

This happens fairly often and I was wondering if this could be checked out?

2)

On a general question: When accessing this site I often click the heading to move forwrd but find that right clicking and choosing "Open" from the drop-down menu is much quicker. What is the reason for this?

1. You will go to the first post unless, a) you click on the little arrow on the left side of the post, or b) you click on the date or time stamp on the right side of the post. Both of these options take you to the last viewed post. If you are doing either of these and it still fails, then do as scotty says.

Tip of the day...........hover over these icons/words and it displays what they are :nanananana:

2.

I don't think that it is the cookies this time, Scotty.I unchecked the delete cookies box in C Cleaner some time ago.

Manfer--I will now try your solutions. Thanks.

Re the links opening delays:- If I click on the "General" heading under Tech Supprt, a longish delay in the opening process can result. But if I right click on it, and then click "Open" from the drop down menu, it almost always will open quickly. The same thing results when I use the "New contents" box. And virtually any other link.

Trust this makes it more clear.
