NAPS Competition – General -  Rules

GENERAL

The NAPS Competition is open to all and there is no need to register.

The NAPS Competition is free to enter.

The NAPS Competition uses the Fixtures from the Scottish Championship , League 1 and League 2 of the SPFL only.

The NAPS Competition is prize free and offers only bragging rights to the winner (A Prize is sometimes offered and this will be advertised when known)

The NAPS Competition can sometimes be played in Mid-Week and competitors are asked to check the NAPS Competition thread to avoid losing points.

RULES

Everybody starts the 2013/14 season with 200 points.

Everybody must select ONE team /match and place a 10 point wager on choosing from the selected fixtures/odds on the respective Week thread.

All bets are settled as they would be in the bookies (ie. lose -10 points; Win + whatever your profit would’ve been)

All bets must be posted before your selected match kicks-off.

Failure to pick a team will result in a loss of 10 points.

You may pick your side before the odds are posted if you know in advance you won’t be able to get on the website. (Don’t worry – the Odds will be added to your post later)

Postponed selections would result in a return of your 10 point stake, however you are allowed to change your selection as long as you do so before the game kicks off.

In the event of there being less than 6 games going ahead in a single round of games, all bets will be void and the game will be cancelled for that week.

Postponed matches very often result in Mid-Week fixtures later on in the Season. The NAPS Competition can sometimes be run when there are enough matches – you will need to look out for these.

Anyone joining the NAPS Competition after Game 1 will be deducted 10 points for each week missed.

DISPUTED RESULTS – ERRORS

Every effort is made to keep errors to a minimum but mistakes do happen (too often).

PLEASE highlight any errors on the NAPS Tables thread or drop me a PM and I will resolve the issue.
