Team for Aberdeen

Intrigued to see how other fans see this one going and how we line up. It'll be obvious how we will play but any curveballs to surprise Aberdeen? - as you can see Watkins up front would be my suggestion.

My team would be: 4-1-4-1

Brill

Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie

Draper

Doran Christie Tansey Williams

Watkins

Subs: Esson, Tremarco, Devine, Horner, Polworth, Ross, Mckay

Aberdeen are playing 4-4-2 with Rooney and Goodwillie up-front these days.  A back three would mark them out of the game with the five to flood the midfield and Watkins alongside Mckay to give him some support.

I like the look of that Rene - could easily pull that off IMO but harsh to drop Raven.

I think Aberdeen will play with one up front for this. McInnes has said the two up front would only be for certain games and I can't see him letting us have an extra man in midfield although the injury to Jack may force his hand. I don't think we will change formation but I really hope we don't pay them too much respect and push at them and not let them come onto us e.g Ibrox last week and our last two trips to Parkhead.

Doran as a wing back you gotta be joking, couldn't tackle a fish supper.

No change to last week other a lot more support to Billy.

On current form, I'd be disappointed if Watkins was dropped.

Either drop Billy or get doran and Watkins round the full backs with low cross balls into the box for Billy to create chaos in a poor Dons defence.

If we drop Billy then we need Foran up front and doesn't look like he will play this side of new year so we are currently a one trick pony without another striker

Same team as last week for me. Just when there is finally some football for me to attend in the Deen something comes up that does not allow me to make it.

Anyone know if there is going to be any coverage of the game?
