Not a night for the Tarten army

Well done Laurence.....shame about your spelling though. Also notice the way you dont link the story of English fans  attempting to antagonise with anti IRA songs. Kind of fell flat on its face as far as the Scots were concerned but has riled the FA enough to look at it more closely.

Not really sure what point the OP is making here. We all know that England, while not nearly good enough to make any impression on a major tournament, nevertheless have far stronger resources than ourselves to draw on, especially in a friendly where umpteen subs are allowed.

So the point must be that the Daily Mail, aka Farage's Fanzine, still has one reader in Scotland?

Not sure what the OP's intention was starting this thread or nor do I really care but I'm starting to cringe every time the tartan army is mentioned in conversation these days

Sadly they are fast becoming the laughing stock throughout Europe with their drunken rampages and escapades

The booing and drowning out of "God Save the Queen" was an outright embarrassment, along with the lack of respect was a disgrace and quite frankly has shown Scotland in a very bad light

I've followed Scotland for many years home and away but the over indulging in alcohol has steadily got worse in my opinion and hence their behaviour deteriorates

The cost of clean ups in city squares alone must be colossal, never mind the repairs to fountains that they fill with fairy liquid

Think it's time the tartan army start to wind their neck in a bit as they are in danger of crossing the line from being football supporters to some sort of political organisation
