How often have you seen ICT?

Not claiming to be anybody special but I thought it would appeal to the likes of Sneckboy

I got this 'Groundhopper' app for the iPad and phone so I got my diaries out and filled it in back as far as 1994.

I've seen ICT 382 times, 97 times at the TCS and 6 times at Telford St. Also 9 times as the home team at Pittodrie.

First ever match was East Stirlingshire 0 CT 2, 9/8/94.

Jeez, good thread to get the calculators working auld yin...     first game was Friendly at telford st vs St Mirren 1994, still got the program,  and of course first league game vs Arbroath.

Total games i'd estimate using season tkts and memory about 400!

Fair play to you mantis, your games involve a lot more travelling than a lot of us.

And about half a dozen of them involved scrounging a bed at yours  :clapoverhead:

It has taken me a while but I've come up with a conservative estimate of 282 games going back to 99/00. Im sure my Dad would have taken me to plenty more games before then but putting an estimate on it would be difficult. I think I actually have a recollection of being at a game at Telford Street which isn't bad considering I'd have been about 4.

How many have you driven to,  as a matter of interest

a fair few from 1994-2003, mostly home ones in the first few years due to work but latterly I managed to bag a few away grounds. Averaging one or two games a season since I emigrated as I always try to time my holidays back home to allow time for friends, family and football (not necessarily in that order).

Two games stick out in my head as memorable (other than the usual suspects of course) .... away at Falkirk on the last day of the 2002/03 season. the last game played at Brockville and my last game as a UK resident ! We beat Falkirk despite them having an impressive unbeaten record that season. but my craziest game was at Airdrie ... It was September 2001 and I returned to Glasgow airport from a visit to North America on the morning of the game. The 9-11 attacks had happened in the middle of my holiday and I was actually supposed to be in New York that day but thats another story. After landing in Glasgow, I was picked up at the airport by ITN (Yompa) and ITN Jr and we made our way to Airdrie. We were 5-0 down at half time and my eyes were literally held open with matchsticks ... after the game I managed to grab a lift up the road - suitcase and all - on the supporters bus ! classic.

Twice and I have a split record...

We lost at home to Dundee Utd in a preseason match before starting our tour of Div 1 in 2009/10.  So I'm 0-1-0 at home.

I also made the first match of the season in Dunfermline that year where we won 1-0!  That makes me 1-0-0 away from home.  (It's also the only match I've been at with IHE )

190 for me.

Won 85

Drawn 47

Lost 58

For 331

Against 240

First game was way back on Sat 20 Jan 1990. An FA Cup 3rd round tie at promotion chasing Airdrie. This was in Caledonian's Highland League days. The match ended in a 2-2 draw - Airdrie equalising in what was possibly the 97th minute.

I went to pretty much all the home games when in the lower leagues, but since we got into the SPL, i doubt i have managed to rack up more than 10 games, due to personal circumstances

That is really impressive as it must be over a 600 mile round trip for you  for Central Belt games, and closer to 1000 for Inverness based games

I haven't kept a record of my ICT matches.  Mostly these days it is away matches in the Central belt, on average about half a dozen a season. When I did still have family in Inverness to visit,  I went to many more home games, but over the 20 years or so of ICT's existence I suspect my total number of games is just a little over 100 (including all the Englandshire friendlies).

On that subject where has Sneckboy gone ??  The last time I saw him it was on a dreary New Years Day as the shades of night came down, as a lorry load of volunteers approched the border town. There were men from Dublin and from Cork,Fermanagh and Ty]rone, but their leader was a Limerick man Sean South from Garryowen.

Mind you - Nobody know who he is or what he looks like

The fact that you still know the words to the tripe you sung in the jungle speaks volume

Wonder have you seen as many ICT games as you've seen Septic? I very much doubt it I reckon

Maybe a new thread should be started to determine this, wonder has Davie surpassed the number of games he's been to at Tannadice?
