Basically we had a free kick the players readied for a cross into the penalty but no a couple of tippy tappy passes instead Hearts clear and  less than 30secs

later 2-0 !!

Canna say i'm surprised, we've been staggering along for a while, its looking like the home game vs Hamilton is going to be crucial, more important than the qtr final for sure.

BBC describes ICT as "shot shy" and "no cutting edge" (Biscuits Preston) ... no sh$£ Sherlock ... tell us something we don't know

Second thoughts ... maybe Yogi/the board need to hear it again.

I know that he is a Hughes signing and thus a favourite of the manager but you only needed to watch the first half of the 2-2 match against Dundee United when he was torn to bits by very average players to appreciate that Horner is out of his depth at Premiership level.

We are now, without doubt, at risk of at least dropping into the play off place. We have much better than Horner in squad. If Yogi persists with indulging with Horner that risk will only increase.

How bad was that? Graham Alexander could have gone back to the dressing room after the game. Stripped of his kit. Folded it up and put it back in the poly bag. Would have been able to sell it in club shop and nobody would have known it had been worn.

If we are fortunate enough to remain in the Premiership we cannot possibly risk going into next season again with no recognised first team strikers.

The system the manager is trying to play was not particularly successful in the first place but now that other teams have worked out what we are doing and that we have no plan B it is increasingly futile and, I know Yogi likes a sideways pass but how many cheap goals do we have to concede before he realises that our own penalty area is not the place to practice that particular art.

We have some very capable and reliable defenders, can we please let them defend...

To be fair to Horner he wasn't the only player last night to turn in a poor show. Some of our more experienced and regular first teamers were far worse than him. As for the Dundee United game when it was clear he was getting roasted by the United left back and left midfielder you would have thought the manager would have changed the system to help him out, perhaps have Polworth stop coming inside from the right all the time to offer some protection to his RB, but instead he persevered and Horner was hung out to dry.

I assume you mean Neil Alexander?

The Hearts second last night was ridiculous. ICT free kick about 25 - 30 yards from the Hearts goal, players lined up on the edge of the box to attack a cross but instead we turn it back towards goal, slack pass back to OFW from Tansey and Hearts are in to score. We went from good attacking position from a set piece to losing a second goal in a matter of seconds. It was amateur stuff.
