Inverness Celtic

I came across a reference online to a team called Inverness Celtic, who won the North Caledonian league in the 19th century and competed in the HL.

Does anyone know anything more about the club, where they played, who founded the club, what strips they wore, what happened to them, etc??

Edit: seems like there is an older thread on this theme, without much information.

Yip - Inverness Celtic Football Club was a Scottish football team from Inverness. They won the North Caledonian Football League in its inaugural season. The following year, in 1897–98, participated in the Highland Football League, finishing fifth out of nine teams. They played at Parkwhin and were nicknamed the Whoops.
