Team for Dons

Agree with this but maybe swap Cole for King. I don't like Cole playing as some kind of inverted winger.

King had a mare on Saturday - nothing went for him and he lost the ball in the back third before the penalty was awarded. Apparently Tremarco is fit again, which is a boost. I'd go Raven McCart McNaughton Tremarco at the back.

Somehow we also need to get the referee on board the team. I have massive respect for Bobby Madden and in particular what he has come through but realistically he was not balanced in his overall judgement on Saturday.

Good luck with that. It's Andrew Dallas

Wouldn't be surprised if we resorted to 5/3/2 since we are away again an inform side.

What I think Richie will do.

                        Fon

raven warren laing mccart McNaughton

                     draper

               tansey  polworth

                      mckay

Tremarco replacing McNaughton early in the second half.

What I would like to see

                Fon

Raven Laing Mccart  McNaughton

         Draper Tansey

Polworth   Cole    Mulreaney

               Mckay

In this game the midfield is crucial, hoping Aberdeen may rest a few boys ahead of there rangers fixture but cant see it. Shinnie and Jack behind Mcginn, Hayes and McLean is a hardworking and creative midfield. Really need draper, polworth, tansey (if they play) and the full/wing backs to be on top of their game.

There is a chance he'll rest McGinn - earlier in the season there was a hint that McGinn can't cope with 3 games in 8 days and I'm sure the Rangers game will be the focus.

4-4-2 no bullshit

              OFW

RAVEN WARREN MCART TREMARCO

MULRANEY TANSEY DRAPER COLE

MCKAY.    ANIER or(polworth in behind McKay )

pass the ball, run down the wings, cross it and score. Keep it simple I say.

I realise Richie is new to this management thing but surely even he knows we'd have a better chance by having eleven players start .
