Alex Fisher

Very sad reading in the Courier of the treatment handed out to Alex Fisher .I can't bear to think how it's affected the outcome of our season . Just want to wish him well for his future and hope he gets the respect he deserves from his next club .The fans showed him what they thought of him .....If only ... but hindsight is a wonderful thing !!

Honestly believe if Richie had not benched him for those three months we would not have been relegated & Alex would still be playing for ICT next season. Foran what an absolute plonker!

Second that - would have loved to have had him here next season but who can blame him for signing a 2 year deal with Motherwell after the way he was treated?

All the best, Alex - we will miss you

I have no doubt he will thrive there, as he would have done here, if given the chance. I also believe he would have scored enough goals to keep us up. Thanks, Richie.

Yeah, totally echo your sentiments. All the best to the big man and lovely parting comment when he said that he would not rule out coming back one day to ict. Maximum Respect

Sorry to lose Fsher, but I wish him every success at Motherwell. Just hope we see him back at the stadium in 2018/19 for a top league game....

Great shame. Played regularly, there's little doubt that he would have been a regular scorer in the Championship.

Something in the P&J today about him being out with a toe injury rather than being frozen out. Is this mince?

Sounds like something RF would 'leak' to p&j to take the attention away from him being a poor man-manager

As I recall he did have some injury earlier in the season.  Not serious enough to make him miss as much action as he did mind.
