Caledonian Stadium is playing host to the launch of "Going Ballistic!", a book by Ian Broadfoot, on Wednesday 1 December at 12.30pm.

"Going Ballistic!" is the story of a Scottish football fairytale and charts the progress of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC from its formation ten years ago to a Bank of Scotland Premierleague side.

The fascinating and comprehensive book which contains match results, team statistics, player records, player profiles, interesting facts and figures and a vast amount of photographs from over the years is available for purchase from the stadium and Inverness bookshops from 1 December. The book is priced at £12.99 with all proceeds being kindly donated by Ian Broadfoot to the club.

Ken Mackie, ICT chairman, said: "Ian is one of our most dedicated supporters and has a knowledge of ICT that is unmatched. We are extremely grateful to him for donating the proceeds of the book to the club and hope that in the next ten years we have even more successes for him to write about."

Ian Broadfoot said: "The story of Inverness Caledonian Thistle is one of remarkable success for both the club and the city and I felt that it deserved a book to record a fantastic decade. ICT has an extremely loyal fan base and I am sure "Going Ballistic!" will prove interesting reading for them."

"Going Ballistic!" is essential reading for ICT fans and all interested in Scottish football and would make an ideal Christmas gift for people who love a story with a happy ending.

Present on the day will be many players both past and present and there will be the opportunity to chat with both Ken Mackie and Ian Broadfoot.
