The latest statement from Director of Football Graeme Bennett on the search for Robbo's successor indicates that it will be next week at the earliest before an announcement is made as to the identity of the new manager.
Inverness Caley Thistle officials will use the weekend to further consider the vacant manager's position following the recent departure of John Robertson to Hearts.
Director of Football Graeme Bennett commented. "We have interviewed several potential candidates this week and while it is important that we have the new man in place as soon as possible, it is equally vital that we spend the necessary rime to ensure the structure is in place that is correct for Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC.
It will be next week therefore, at the earliest, before we are in a position to announce our new manager and in the interim, John Docherty, Charlie Christie and myself will continue to look after team affairs.
Tomorrow's game against Dundee United is an absolutely crucial one for us and for the next twenty-four hours our only focus will be on getting the right result in that one."
