    View From The Dugout

      Teaser Paragraph:

Caley Thistle manager Craig Brewster and defender Grant Munro comment on the recent Aberdeen game and the much anticipated return to the Caledonian Stadium in January.

This week's 'View from the Dugout' sees manager Craig Brewster and defender Grant Munro comment on the recent Aberdeen game and the much anticipated return to the Caledonian Stadium in January...

Grant said: 'During the Aberdeen game we defended well with chances to win especially when you look at the opportunities we missed. We were written off at the start of the season but the team have used this as an added incentive to play well. We were all pleased to get the chance to play in the SPL and playing at Pittodrie has been no problem. It will be good to get home - it will save on the petrol bill!! The support in Aberdeen has been tremendous but the crowds will definitely increase when we came home and opposing teams will really have to do battle when they come to Calenian Stadium'.

Craig added: 'Richie Hart has the flu but should be ok for training on Saturday. Steven Hislop is improving slowly and is aiming for 100% fitness for pre-season.

The matches since Hibs have all been tough and we just tried to prepare the players as much as possible and they have all responded very well. The points we picked up in December have been a bonus but they will only count if we do well in January.

January is going to be a huge month for us and every point is vital when you are in the bottom six. We are looking forward to the last home game at Pittodrie on Monday. It has been a great stadium to play at and we plan to leave on a high.'
