Caley Thistle have signed Chris Hogg from Hibs until the end of the season.
The 25 year old defender was released from his contract at Hibs and with suspensions looming for both Ross Tokely (2 games) and Grant Munro (3 games) it seems to make sense to sign the former Hibees skipper.
Chris started his career with the York City youth system in 1997, captaining England at under–15 level. He signed for FA Premier League team Ipswich Town for a fee of £100,000 in June 2001 and joined Third Division Boston United for two different loan spells before transferring to Hibs in January 2005.
He initially struggled to establish himself in the Hibernian first team, but started to win a regular place from January 2007 under the management of John Collins. Hogg was made Hibs captain at the beginning of the 2009–10 season, after Rob Jones moved to Scunthorpe United. His appearances in 2010/11 have been sporadic and he will be hoping to establish himself in the ICT side.
