The race for the coveted CaleyThistleOnline Player of the Year title is still wide open as we enter the final few weeks of the campaign. Incredibly, at the end of April, no fewer than NINE different players were still in with a chance of lifting the trophy.
With only three matches this month, there weren't too many points on offer - and nearly all of them were snaffled up by Josh Meekings, who continued his excellent campaign by earning his second player of the month award, earning the most votes in the matches at home to St Johnstone and at Celtic Park, and coming second to Toni Reguero in the return game in Perth. The Spanish keeper came in 16 votes behind Josh in second place, with Ross Draper in third.
None of the top four players in the standings picked up a single point from any of the games, so Andy Shinnie remains just in front of Billy McKay at the top of the list with only three matches left.
