  2. You'll never have better chances to win a game than we had today and I'm scared we've blown our chance. Graeme Shinnie was my MOTM while I feel Pepper could have given us a bounce for Nick Ross as opposed to Sutherland, while Doran's final ball is often very poor. We never seem to rise to the occasion.

  3. At first I was affrayed I was putrified Kept thinkin' I could never live without Roy's chequebook by my side; But then I spent so many nights Thinkin' how Terry did me wrong And I grew thrawn and I learned how to get a meme And now you're back from outer sneck I just walked in to find you here with that expectant look upon your face I should have changed that stupid lock I should have made you leave your Mckay If I'd've known for just one second you'd back to bother me Go on now, go walk out the door Just turn around now ('cause) you're not welcome anymore Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with good manners Do you think I'd be humble Did you think I'd say sit down and hi? Oh no, not I. I will seethe Oh as long as I know how to bitch I know I'll stay seething; I've got all my life to seethe, I've got all my seethe to give and I'll seethe,....dadadada

  4. It takes a very special team to get anything from 3-0 down.

  6. We seem to freeze on the big occasions..felt like the semi final all over again. I've got a bad feeling we're going to have to rely on Motherwell doing us a favour as I'm not sure we'll get the win up there next week. So many wasted chances, shooting opportunities not taken, and poor crosses into the box. Said it last week, but I'll say it again..Doran was mince! I really wont lose any sleep if he doesnt sign a new contract. Ross had a bright first half, but disappeared in the second. Both Shinnies were fantastic, Graeme was my MOTM. If we get a penalty next week who's going to take it??

  7. What an absolute sickener that was. I don't think there is much to complain about in terms of the performance and effort levels - we created more than enough chances in the second half and we paid for our profligacy. If we'd decided to settle for the draw we'd probably have got it, but we pushed for the winner and got our fingers burned. It's a shame, but these things happen sometimes. Part of the problem is that we lack decent attacking options off the bench (no, Shane Sutherland is not a decent attacking option) and we don't have anyone who can come on and change the game when the attacking players are tired. I thought Graeme Shinnie and Josh Meekings were immense today. I know we lost the match, but I'm staggered that barely 200 people stayed behind for the lap of honour. We're third in the SPL, for goodness sake. That was our first home defeat to someone other than Celtic or Motherwell. The players deserved a damn sight better and I felt hugely sorry for them. Someone like Jones or Doran, yet to agree a new contract, must be wondering whether they shouldn't go somewhere where the fans would give them more credit. Some idiots in the main stand even booed at the final whistle. These guys need their heads examined, frankly. Next Sunday is not going to be very relaxing.

  9. Very disappointing we have had a very decent season but whenever the stakes are highest we seem to lose our nerve as at Easter Road and again today. We nearly did it last week but were handed a lifeline by the Ojamaa sending off. Yes, the United custodian had a decent match but if we had shown any composure in front of goal we would have been two or three goals clear by the time United scored in injury time. This is without doubt a competent team but it is increasingly obvious that they do not handle pressure well. Frankly, I am not optimistic for Dingwall next Sunday and now believe that our best chance of Europe next season lies with Motherwell doing the business against both our rivals. Staying in negative mode, how disappointing that a game that was potentially one of the most significant in our history attracted a crowd of less than four thousand. I remember better crowds for North of Scotland and Qualifying Cup finals.

  10. Yes, a shame he didn't get a few minutes. But he must be chuffed, as I am, that his side got a thoroughly deserved victory in the FA Cup final. A true victory for the underdog, and keeps the 'romance' of cup competitions alive. I just hope Wigan can now pull off another miracle by winning their two last league matches and stay in the EPL, hopefully at the expense of Newcastle.

  12. what a difference a week makes. du playing nice 5-10 yard passes all over the park, even under pressure in their own box, every thing through willo flood. didnt looklike scoring though. but 2 chances, took both. we froze today, the prize was too much. both shinnies were excellent dont know what we will do next season without andy. thought last week randolph made great save for penalty, saw on tv it was a poor hit. todays penalty to the other side of goal was perfect height for a keeper, go the right way and save that shot every time. apart from one delightful hit doran was hanging up crosses from deep that the 2 biggest centre backs i have seen this season, and the goalkeeper were dealing with, with ease. even when he was at the byeline he was still hanging up high crosses. nick ross totally ineffective and draper could not do anything right and was rightfully hooked for otj. dont know how draper will cope next week in the sandpit. needed 2-3 touches today to control the ball, when he wasnt tripping himself up, may need 5-6 next week. we had chances to win this match before they got their breakaway second, but they fell to ross, doran, mackay. none could take any. doran had a chance from around the pen spot, another ball had to be produced as he skyed his shot over the north stand into the home car park. think we will still make europe but need motherwell win both their matches.

  13. We lost this game but its been a superb season and everythhing to play for next week. Such a pity all the fans that left after Dundee Utd goal couldn't stay and congratulate the team on our best season yet. It would of been good when the team came out at the end for them to see the stands full but not to be!!

  20. We are ICT and I see a whole army of my fellow fans before me, still in 3rd place, in defiance of the SPL. You have come as proud fans, and proud fans you are but do you have enough fight for 2 last battles, You may lie in your beds many years from now wishing you had done more to help our team into Europe, would you be willing to trade all those days from that day till now for the chance, the chance to say you did all that you could to support the team to the best of your ability for 2 final games, tell our rivals they may mock our club but they will never take our belief !

    • Inverness CT 0-1 Raith Rovers - Report
Inverness threatened the Raith goal and but for Kevin Dabrowski and his bar they could have been dead and buried at the interval. No score at the break and all to play for in the second half. Vaughan opened the scoring early in the second half and Samuel almost levelled but his shot from distance cannoned away off the post. The crossbar was hit a further twice but the goal would not come. Despite peppering the Raith goal, MotM Dabrowski would not be beaten with a string of saves ranging from brilliant to miraculous.

    • Inverness CT -V- Raith Rovers - Preview
The great escape coninues on Friday night at the Caledonian Stadium as we host Raith Rovers in a game that will also be screened live on BBC Scotland with Raith trying to cling on to the coat tails of Dundee United and the Caley Jags looking to slither away from the play-off zone. What could possibly go wrong? Savage and Carragher will be joined in the squad by a welcome returnee in Sean McAllister who has returned fit from Everton after about six weeks out. That's a nice wee bonus for Big Dunc. However, he has the wrath from Arbroath after his "tools down" comment in his pre-match interview. As long as he has not got the wrath from Raith. Keep the faith!

    • Queens Park 0-1 Inverness CT - Report
Massive: Just under 1500 fans rattled around inside the national stadium for the proverbial six-pointer at the bottom of the table with Inverness looking to get out of the play-off place and Queens one point ahead at the start of the game. In a tense first half Cammy Harper scored a stunning free kick after Cillian Sheridan had handled 25 yards out. Boom! That's how it ended despite QP upping their game in the second period as Inverness kept them at bay.

Hampden Calling: Carragher is now a doubt after feeling his hamstring. Other than that not much has changed apart from Remi Savage, who has not recovered after he got a boot in the face from Cammy Kerr. Apparently Kerr's boot is OK but Savage is suffering from minor concussion and will miss the next couple of games. Maybe that was Kerr ensuring he gets a game this weekend.

    • Inverness CT 2-1 Arbroath - Report
Smokies Kippered: On a blustery day more akin to AA Milne and Winnie the Pooh, Arbroath and Inverness battled it out to see who would get the final nails hammered into their coffins. Arbroath were in the last chance snug in the last chance saloon, whilst Inverness have one foot in the grave. I don't believe it! Arbroath tried everything, they even took their own wind with them. However, they had Murray, Bird and Slater on from the start but O'Brien missed out. Zak Delaney also started for the Red Lichties. A bright opening spell saw Alex Samuel denied twice inside five minutes. Once by a combination of Max Boruc and his crossbar, the second by Boruc on his own as Samuel got his shot away from inside the box. Wallace Duffy got the goal we deserved on the interval as he drove across the keeper from the right side of the box to put us in ahead at the break. Leighton McIntosh restored parity on the hour as he drilled home from eighteen yards, but Alex Samuel won the points with a late strike to all but relegate ten man Arbroath who had Ricky Little sent off.
