  1. What amazes me about this topic is that people are slating him and saying they're glad to see the back of him... Well, if you were that bothered about what he DIDNT contribute to the team/club and how USELESS he was, then why are you bothered about talking about him? He's gone. No longer at the club. Wont be back for pre-season. Wont wear an ICT jersey again. In my personal opinion I thought he contributed as much as he could to the side. He came to the club as a striker and was constantly played in midfield. Is it any wonder he didnt get stuck in as much as one might hope? Lets not forget what he DID do whilst here... Set up 2 and scored 1 in the 4-0 win over Utd. - Our first win of the last campaign. He scored the equaliser in the 3-3 derby day draw in the Scottish Cup. He scored the decisive penalty against Stenny in last years league cup. Not to mention he set up a few goals in other important matches, not least the 1-0 win at parkhead.

  3. INTRODUCTION: This fairy tale is about the merger of two clans, the Jeggies and the Howden Enders, who lived in the fabled land of Sneck many years ago. There were actually three clans in existence at that time but the Merkinchers had always preferred to be in-bred and stay in their own part of the Kingdom, mainly becos they were usually too intoxicated to go further and/or barred from everywhere else. The three clans had actually lived together in relative harmony but in different standards of living, financial well-being and numbers. But the Sneck Borough Council, in association with the Inversneck Narcissist Emporium (INE), were under pressure to enter in to the prodigious Scottish Premier League of Family Unity and were determined to unite the clans by whatever means, fair or foul. THE AUTHOR: Charlie Binman was a wee bloke who had worked as a Refuse Collector for the Sneck Borough Council all his life. He was naturally an intrusive and nosey little sod who had spent many years foraging through the refuse disposed off by the businesses and families of Sneck, without even getting his hands dirty. He claimed to have links with all the clans although it was oft suspected that his true allegiances lay with the land of Dungwall across the sea. He was an astute academic however and enjoyed running - but then again he had too on many occasions. GTWB Corporation (Publishing Division) would wish to acknowledge the emotional support received from the following sponsors during the production of this fairy tale. Without their support, the project would not have been possible:

  5. Hear hear G J, well said, short memories and lack of vision with some Youth is a fickle time especially coming with aspirations of Arsenal and beyond, difficult for the young lad but he certainly has more ability than some on here seem to realise and will be a strong player one day soon, given the right opportunity. Could even emulate the great Denis Law. A player of his age leaving two Celtic players on their Ass's and the rest of the defence bemused before crossing the ball for that goal, I laughed my socks off or should I say larfed my socks off, brilliant talent. Fate played it's cruel part when he missed that penalty, that's when his confidence fell flat, but it will come back. There's none so blind as those who cannot see!!!!!!!!

  7. Its almost as is Terry has been reading these pages. Article in today's P&J regarding trying to sign Scottish or Scotland based players: Whilst we would all rather more Scottish players in the team it is simply not feasible given our wage structure. Personally I fully understand and accept this and have no problem where Terry sees fit to source our incoming transfers.

    • Queens Park 0-1 Inverness CT - Report
Massive: Just under 1500 fans rattled around inside the national stadium for the proverbial six-pointer at the bottom of the table with Inverness looking to get out of the play-off place and Queens one point ahead at the start of the game. In a tense first half Cammy Harper scored a stunning free kick after Cillian Sheridan had handled 25 yards out. Boom! That's how it ended despite QP upping their game in the second period as Inverness kept them at bay.

Hampden Calling: Carragher is now a doubt after feeling his hamstring. Other than that not much has changed apart from Remi Savage, who has not recovered after he got a boot in the face from Cammy Kerr. Apparently Kerr's boot is OK but Savage is suffering from minor concussion and will miss the next couple of games. Maybe that was Kerr ensuring he gets a game this weekend.

    • Inverness CT 2-1 Arbroath - Report
Smokies Kippered: On a blustery day more akin to AA Milne and Winnie the Pooh, Arbroath and Inverness battled it out to see who would get the final nails hammered into their coffins. Arbroath were in the last chance snug in the last chance saloon, whilst Inverness have one foot in the grave. I don't believe it! Arbroath tried everything, they even took their own wind with them. However, they had Murray, Bird and Slater on from the start but O'Brien missed out. Zak Delaney also started for the Red Lichties. A bright opening spell saw Alex Samuel denied twice inside five minutes. Once by a combination of Max Boruc and his crossbar, the second by Boruc on his own as Samuel got his shot away from inside the box. Wallace Duffy got the goal we deserved on the interval as he drove across the keeper from the right side of the box to put us in ahead at the break. Leighton McIntosh restored parity on the hour as he drilled home from eighteen yards, but Alex Samuel won the points with a late strike to all but relegate ten man Arbroath who had Ricky Little sent off.

It's Now or Never: That's what Elvis used to say. We are in deep trouble up to our necks with no signs that we can turn this around. Defeat to Arbroath could be the final nail in our coffin with only fifteen points available to us ahead of this game. The play-offs are looking more likely by the minute, but it's not beyond the realms of possibilty that automatic relegation is still an option should Arbroath beat us on Saturday. With the long suffering fans rapidly losing faith in Big Dunc, it's crunch time as Arbroath head North to the venue they won at the last time they were here. Sadly they come to the Caledonian Stadium off the back of a 2-1 midweek defeat to Airdrie, and we could all but relegate them on Saturday with a win. However, that's nothing to gloat about as we could be next...

Big Trouble Down the Dump: Billy Mckay was back in the starting XI along with Samson Lawal with Pepple dropping to the bench and Shaw out for the season. Both teams had seven on the bench with Roddy MacGregor getting a rare seat. Scott Robinson scored the only goal of the game just before the break. Inverness were reduced to ten men when Cammy Kerr was sent off just after an hour. Despite creating more opportunities, the points just evaded us.

      Meh!
