Delighted for your players, management and staff at Hampden, but especially for you, the fans! A well merited win, even though your team were not perhaps at their best. It has been a terrific season all told and I wish you well next season - especially in your first European adventure. May it be an exciting and prolonged one. Look forward to visiting Inverness again next season - I have missed our games with you in the season just ended. Hope your hangovers pass quickly and you have a great day on Sunday!

The display required over 2 tons of card and was made up of over 9000 individual sheets....info which adds some insight into the power of work put in by Fraser, Caley Jags Together and Volunteers. Absolutely tremendous effort, especially for the first card display we've ever had (unless my brain is totally failing me).

It was a flag and ICT. Great job done organising it.

To everyone involved in the card display a big thanks and well done. Having now seen it on TV (as opposed from behind a card) it looked stunning and made Falkirk's look like an amateur afterthought!

Great turn out for the lads, and amazing to see so many young kids wearing ICT tops. This might be the end of an incredible season, but it also might just be the start of something even more amazing! What a journey it has been, and hopefully continues to be!!

At the start of the 2014-2015 season I think it's fair to say that I felt somewhat underwhelmed by what I thought we were going to be watching and how we would fair, and I think one or two others would agree that they felt the same. We didn't exactly finish the 2013-2014 season to our full potential and outwith the highlight of getting to the League Cup Final, I still had the feelings of 'what if'. I was never the biggest fan of the appointment of John Hughes, I couldn't see how he could take us forward and while I support ICT through and through I posted before the start of the season on a thread that he had 8-10 games to win me over, I also recall going as far as stating that how he conducted himself in pre/post matches interviews and with the media needed to be drastically worked on. Well the 8-10 games came and went and now I owe John Hughes a huge apology for my comments and for doubting that he could take the club forward, wow was I wrong in the biggest way possible. I genuinely believe that there are more ICT fans who felt the same way and had doubts but here's one who will openly admit he was wrong. Big man, thanks so much for this season, you and the team have massively surpassed my expectations and provided me with some awesome memories.

What a day! Thought both teams looked pretty jittery for the first 15 minutes, but then we settled and created some chances. Was just starting to think we needed to put one away when Marley rounded the keeper and slotted home. We then pressed to try and get a second before half time, and only Grants tackle on Doran stopped us being further ahead at the break. Half time came at completely the wrong time for us! Falkirk changed their system, and we either decided to sit on 1-0, or just couldn't adapt to the change. Thought we might just hold on, but then the moment that changed the game. Tremarco with a horrible miscontrol that Alston was on to in a flash. Tremor I tried to recover with a man or ball tackle, upended Alston, and off he went. Watching the highlights later, it was the ricochet of his heel that did Tremarco, and his calf got a bit of the ball before he got Alston, but we can't complain about the red card. At this point I was hoping for an Easter Road-esque Alamo style defence, but eventually we cracked and Grant headed home. At that point I thought that there was only going to be one winner - and they weren't from the Highlands. And then it happened. Marley won a header just inside our half and went on a run. Vincent did a 100m that Usain Bolt would have been proud of to get up in support. I was screaming to Marley to square it, but he took the shot, which MacDonald in the Falkirk goal parried to Vincent for him to stroke it home. At this point I was convinced that lack of sleep had caught up with me and I was hallucinating. I thought Falkirk would get one more chance, which they did with a free kick, but our defence stood firm throughout the 6 hours, sorry minutes, of injury time. Stone me! We've only won the flipping cup. A huge well done to the players yesterday. We didn't play anything like our best in the second half, and the winning goal was more than slightly against the run of play, but what the hell. I think losing Raven was a double blow, as Shinnie is less effective as an attacker on the right. I felt for Tremarco, but it was a sloppy bit of control, and he had to make the tackle. It was always a red if he got it wrong. So the season of a lifetime ends, and we qualify for the Europa league twice. So how do we too that? By qualifying for the Champions League twice, I guess. Can't wait until the Europa League draw on 22nd June!

The way we were playing in the first half I thought we were on easy street and was wondering why we were not more goals ahead. Then the 2nd half started and I got the message:- It wasn't that we were so much better than Falkirk, it was simply that their manager had told them to defend, defend,. defend in the 1st half and wear us down,.And it nearly worked for them too!. That goal by Falkirk was soooo well taken, superb connecting header IMHO. But, on balance, we were just the classier team on the day I suppose and our later goal was very well executed. Lung-bursting effort from dedicated professionals with just a wee bit of luck thrown in (their goalie palmed the ball instead of grabbing it tight). But the race goes to the swift and we just seemed to have that little something extra---even if the fickle finger of fate suspended judgment on us for the day in recognition of past efforts since our new team of ICT was created out of two small Highland league teams. What a graceful and dedicated effort the club has made since it's inception. The Cup is fantastic recognition of all the hard work, love and dedication put in by so many people on all levels. But what a lovely day out. Beautiful Hamden park on a lovely sunny day, ICT superb in the first half, drama aplenty. The fantastic card display, Willie Collum trying hard to be reasonable and actually did a pretty good job in retrospect. And the drama at the end with the sending off and the last gasp goal to our ten men. And my pal, Gary, said honestly that he really enhoyed the game and the spectacle and thought overall we were the better team and deserved our victory. Which really gave me an emotional fillip. A great big thank to Fraser all him team off helpers - great way to spend a Friday. I was far left bottom right and I had no idea how impressive it looks. WOW

Absolutely fantastic .And what an effort. I am so proud of our team and all the supporters who gave of their energy. That display deserves a medal in itself. What a day out in the sun for all connected with ICT. Thank you local fans. Thank you.

Ok ok who is willing to own up and admit they had a wee cry yesterday... Whether it was full on eyes streaming, or just one tear or two. I actually got all emotional after the first goal, think it was due to the tension beforehand. The second i was alright, just went a bit mental... The tears really came at Full Time though. Looking up at the screen and seeing the words 'Inverness Caledonian Thistle Scottish Cup Winners' It was a beautiful moment!

Best ever game how they played doesn't really matter! After the final whistle it took a few minutes to sink in that we had actually won The Scottish Cup A big thank you to John Hughes, all the team, Kenny Cameron, all the staff at ICT, all the voluteers who put in a huge amount of time helping the club and the fans who turned out in the thousands yesterday for such a memorable occasion

I was in the South stand and I think I was as nervous about how it would turn out as I was about the game! A huge thank you Upland Development Ltd for funding the endeavour, to Liz MacRae and her helpers who put the stickers on the card and got them down to Glasgow (no mean feat in itself), to the club for lending us the minibus, to CJT for help coordinating it, to Jen and Joanna for driving the minibus, to everyone from Inverness and the Central Belt who gave up hours of their time to help set it out on Friday and finally to everyone in the North and East stands for taking part and making it a great success. Tansey was saying last night that the boys thought it was great and I've seen nothing but positive comments about it, so mission accomplished!! What a weekend.

Me too for verily I did doubt the word of John for I had given myself unto Butcher until he did reveal his true nature to me. I was lost but now I am found. Anyone else?

Loved the celebrations in Inverness today. Feeling a bit jaded after yesterdays post match hi-jinks, we popped into the Palace Hotel for a coffee while we watched for the bus and then followed it round to the NMP. The boys looked so happy, Scooty and co sang their song and David Raven showed what a talented lad he is with his own sing song for the crowd. It was a nice touch that the boys stayed around to chat, pose for photos and sign autographs. A perfect end to a perfect season.

I was surprised (and disappointed) at how quickly the Falrkirk end emptied when the whistle went. Their players did very well to get to this stage, gave everything and played well on the day against a better team. When Falkirk went up to collect their medals they got well deserved and very respectful applause from all the ICT fans but there only a fraction of their own support was there to see it. I'd like to think we'd have stayed for the presentations had it been the other way around, as nearly all of us did at the League Cup final.

Falkirk went with a male genital region theme for theirs. That takes some balls.

I went to the toilet on the 40th minute to save queuing at half time, I am not kidding the second my butt hit that seat I heard an almighty roar and immediately knew it was from our end. Kind of glad we won 2 - 1 because otherwise I would have celebrated our first cup final winner with my trousers around my ankles!

I did not enjoy that game at all, until the end! We were pretty p1sh from 46 to 85 mins, but the history books will forever show that ICT won and lifted the 2015 Scottish Cup.

Falkirk fans were brand new. Nothing but handshakes for me anyway. Makes a change from being gobbed at

Who cares? Everyone was there to see the team and celebrate the cup win. Who gives two hoots what the local MP was introduced as? Please keep your constant obsession with the SNP to the nether regions of the site where we can all continue to ignore them.

You won't be in the Championship long if you keep playing like that. You have an extremely astute manager whose tactics were spot on in the second half, when you bossed the game. And Peter Grant was outstanding, saving goals at one end, and scoring at the other. You contributed a lot to an epic day. Impressive turn out.

I was surprised by the number of ICT fans who left at final whistle too, quite a few I could see from where I was walking out, if this was a home game the number would have been noticeable but feel those who stayed did more than enough to so the players appreciation.

Fantastic. So proud of the team and all supporters who made the journey to Hampden. There was a real feeling of community there and never thought we'd see such a large and noisy Highland support. Well done ICT.

Not only do we have a bridge and a castle, we also have a cup! And not just a cup, The Cup!

Didn't know what it looked like, or said, as I was holding a blue card. Lady near us showed us a picture at half time (of the card display, not some random holiday pics) and it looked pretty darn good. Was probably a bit of a card display skeptic before, but that may have changed my mind. The only reservation I had - was it wise to remind Mr Collum about red cards?

It was slightly hidden away. BBC don't really like us winning the cup it seems. On the way home last night the Radio Scotland 7pm sport news had Glasgow winning some rugby match as the top story with us playing second fiddle.

It was great to see so many old faces (!) and many new ones too. This could have been the largest gathering of ICT fans there will ever be.

Even before kick off we had beaten Falkirk with our card display compared to theirs. Great organisation for a great result.

Who would have thought that devine/raven/vincent would be the players to get us the most important goals? All technically defenders since vincent was playing in RB when he scored.

What no trip in open top bus around city centre? Bank Street is open, I have been told so could do the loop via precinct then head to the NMP. We're still celebrating in Glasgow so will have to cut short get an early night and get back up the road in time. Now who's driving?
