  1. All we need now is for every supporter to believe in the squad we have. Positive thinking shows every single player is an SPFL player waiting to re-emerge. Not too far off this time last year, the team started an incredible run. Let us begin that process again this Saturday.

  2. Fully agree, moan if its not on TV, then moan when it is. There's lots of clubs and their fans who would love the chance to even see their club on TV and the minor windfall it generates. We are in the position where next to every league games are on Saturday at 3pm yet I don't see the fans running out to fill the stadium then and doubt they would have for the cup either!!!

  3. We have been shafted before with the likes of having to play Hearts in semi finals in their home city and ridiculously early semi final kick off times in Glasgow. Compared to that, although not ideal, this one is not too bad. For those living in and around Inverness there should be plenty if time to finish work and make the short journey ORB. In my opinion, there should be no talk of a boycott and those who can should get there in large numbers to act as twelfth man to help the team to victory. Three times this season we have matched our much wealthier neighbours and were very unfortunate to lose the last derby. This is one we can definitely win and a large and vocal away crowd will certainly help.

  5. I can’t believe people are moaning about a Monday night. Especially when the distance between the two clubs is so short. Scarlett you’ll need to start moaning because you can’t get to Falkirk for 3pm on a Saturday.

  6. Totally agree with you yes the day & time not ideal but it is only 20 minutes OTB lets get there and support the boys

  9. It’s a rubbish time BUT given the choice between a couple of extra players for the rest of the season or a more convenient kick off for one fixture.......?

  10. I hope after reading and hearing what the man went through with his illness people get off his back. He genuinely wants to help our team do well and he's if nothing else not short on effort as well as being our current top scorer this season. Let's for once try and get behind all our players at the business end of the season, we still have a great chance of the playoffs and his goals are going to be crucial.

  14. Two and a half year deal. If he fits in well with the other players (and Robbo seems to have a reasonable record on that score) then he sounds as though he could be a really good signing.

  15. I think the biggest issue is that folk are (rightly) disappointed that despite the SFA saying the games will take place on the 9th and 10th of February they have decided to play this on the 11th.

  16. Takes the anticipation out of a Cup Draw knowing who you could be playing in 6th round before having played 5th round tie. Different when it is a replay situation. Cockup once again from SFA. Match of the round and shoved where they want us to make room for so called glamour boys for weekend coverage.

  17. Fair comment but if there was going to be a game on monday evening then this game is probably more local for both sets of fans than any other game. The bonus is you can watch on tv and save on travel costs. Just think its sad, that rather than look forward to a great game which is on live tv to endorse the fact that there is actually life in scottish football outside the central belt and the premiership we have fans advocating a boycott. Probably the same fans that would have complained had the broadcasters ignored the tie. Have to say Ive been amazed at the reaction because lets face it if we are on live tv the ko time and dates will most likely be changed , but this is one game that is surely easiest to adapt to this situation. Certainly lots better than the Ayr Utd game which was supposed to be live on friday night last month.

  19. It’s called supporting your club , moaning about the game being on a Monday night is just ridiculous Its on tv we as a club get money and it’s a journey just over the bridge to Dingwall , very small minded to think otherwise

  20. Having been to many momentous ICT games, including the semi final v Celtic in 2015, I was unable to attend the Cup Final due to serious illness. I even missed the celebrations in Inverness the following day but I have the DVD of the game and have viewed it umpteen times. Only illness would make me miss a game such as this. Come on ICT.

  21. The ground that the stands sit on is the valuable bit not the stands themselves It’s a well known fact to the Invernessian football fraternity that both the temporary north and south stands have wheels below each section and when the time comes they can be moved to a more suitable location within Inverness. Sadly though the more we languish outside the top flight the longer they will stay where they are. We are in danger of becoming a non entity club like Arbroath it really is that thin a line when it comes to money in the scottish game. Dougal

  22. I hardly think comparing a national cup final in Glasgow to a cold dark night in Dingwall is really the same though is it I’d be surprised if the attendance is in excess of 4000 now that it’s been switched to a school night Shame on the SPFL Dougal

  23. No substitute for being there in my opinion. We could all have watched the cup final on television but it wouldn't have been a tenth of the experience of actually being there.

  24. It's another poor show by the SFA but a boycott will achieve nothing other than depriving the club of revenue and the fans of watching what could be a highly entertaining match.

  26. But we shouldnt bother what they do, fans can be the 12th man and last two games fans have been brilliant at their place.

  31. And Palace's players are probably being paid more in a week than Jordan gets in a year. He's never going to win a high jump competition but I'm glad more folk are beginning to appreciate the positive qualities he does have. He's turning into an excellent signing for us.

  34. I would love to predict a no show, make it a visual disaster by having no away support and make it known why. I have made this point many times before, until the SFA and TV companies are told in no uncertain terms that we will not be treated like milk cows, nothing will change. This applies to all supporters of the Scottish game and I would love to see a coordinated push back against these leeches, that the Scottish supporter will not be taken for granted and fall in line with the whims of the TV executives. • Inverness CT 1-2 Ayr United - Report
Having sat through one of the worst games for many a year there is little to hope for now apart from Arbroath to keep losing because we certainly appear to find it difficult to win. We have no game changers in our squad and our manager is playing the wrong type of anti-football to help our cause. Big Dunc thought we were the better team. Pleeeeeaaase, give me a break! We were second to everything and Ayr were always one step ahead of us after the first three minutes. SHOCKER springs to mind.

    • Inverness CT 0-0 Airdrieonians - Report
These two sides looked as though they could play for the whole of March without scoring. In terms of opportunities, the hosts probably shaded it, but when we did miss the first defender, crosses invariably went behind the incoming strikers. On the one occasion we got on the end of the ball Billy Mckay's flicked header was cleared away from goal by Kanayo Megwa.
Not the worst 0-0 draw ever, but scoring opportunities were at a premium. Neither keeper was overly troubled and this game had scoreless written all over it given the evidence of the first twenty minutes.

    • Inverness CT -V- Airdrieonians - Preview
Promoted Airdrie are sitting in fifth place in the table, just below the play-off places with former Caley Jag Nikolay Todorov getting amongst the goals and he will provide a big test for our central defence. We have found Airdrie a difficult proposition at times this season but we did win the last home encounter against them.

    • Morton 0-2 Inverness CT - Report
What a start for Inverness and Billy Mckay, who answered his abusers from last week by opening the scoring in the second minute, firing into the top corner after an assist from Cammy Harper. Robbie Muirhead looked to respond but Mark Ridgers was equal to his effort in the fifth minute. Ten minutes before the interval Sean McAllister curled in a low free kick from the edge of the box to double our advantage and open his scoring account at Inverness. Plenty of bookings but no further scoring saw Inverness pick up a vital three points in the relegation battle although we still remain in ninth spot but only two points from Dunfermline in fifth.

    • Morton -V- Inverness CT - Preview
Morton host Inverness on Saturday at 3:00pm. They are unbeaten over ninety minutes in their last 17 outings, including a 5-0 pumping of the Pars, a 3-2 win at Tannadice and they also knocked Motherwell out of the Scottish Cup. It wasn't that long ago Morton were below us in the table and now they are in contention for a play-off place at the top end of the table. Us, on the other hand, have slumped to ninth in the table with a distinct possibility of making a play-off place as well. Unfortunately, that's at the relegation end of the table.
