  1. We do not half like to make things difficult for ourselves. Coasting three goals up and then the dreaded defensive lapses left us clinging on for the final whistle. Stupid penalty and a weak deflected shot made the last few minutes dreadful to watch

  2. Hello ICT Supporters! I am a fan of Inverness from Kyiv, Ukraine. Probably the only one in the country. I enjoyed Adam Rooney's goals with you, I admired Ross Tokely, I watched how young Ryan Christie was growing up in the team. I jumped for joy at the victory in the finals against Falkirk and I was also upset by the defeat of the Astra. I was worried about the resignation of Terry Butcher, and now I support Robbo. I want to say that you should not stop, that there are people admiring the team even in Ukraine, and I really want Inverness to play again in the Premier League and there be sold out at the stadium. Do not stop and do not allow the quagmire of the Championship to devour you. Inverness deserves the Premier League. I hope one day I can come and watch the team play alive. Yours sincerely and forever Fan from Ukraine Danylo Lytvynchuk

  7. I watched it on tv with an excitable 7 year old who remembered us losing to them at home a few weeks back. I was worried at half time, as we were on top but had not managed to score, Chalmers coming closest, and the keeper saving Donaldson's header. Partick started the second half better, but what a goal: White's dummy was sublime, setting Doran up for a great goal! Shame we lost the equaliser, but Ridgers had no chance. I feared the worst, as earlier in the season we would have, at best, drawn, but what a winner. Dorian's lay off was incredible, only matched by Walsh's finish. Credit to all 13 who played, a great result, and they closed the game down very well to avoid the risk of a late equaliser. Ridgers was rarely troubled. McKay had a quiet game, although his poor touch put us in trouble early on. Tremarco was pushing forward as usual. Donaldson and McCart are a sound pairing. Trafford is transformed, but may drop out now Walsh is back. A tough call for Robbo whether he or Chalmers starts. Welsh had a good game, Chalmers was quieter although he nearly got an opener in the first half. Polworth had a couple of wayward efforts, but controlled the game when in mattered late on. Doran is back to his best. He was quite quiet early on, but a goal and an assist proves his worth. He is on song, and we are doing much better as a result. White terrorised the defence, and created the first goal. He has really settled into the front man role for us. Great to see Walsh back, and what a finish from Doran's clever lay off. When the MOM thread starts, for me it is Doran, White and Welsh. Back in fourth, with Alloa, Falkirk and Ross County at home to come, we have scope for optimism! Come on Caley Thistle, let's make this a great season!!

  8. Glad you are supporting us Danylo, it is just IHE having a joke if you are on the forum a lot you will get used to it. We need all the support we can get as the Inverness folk are not so good at supporting their local team and if you have or know someone who wants to invest a million or two there might be an opportunity.

  9. How low can the Board sink to do this ? I suspect this may be Gordy Fyffe.

  10. Superb...Caley rode out a bit of Partick Thistle pressure and saw the game out well in the end. Great game from Doran, back to his best isn't he (or better). Lovely goal from Walsh, so good to have him back, and so important. Thought White lead the line well (and a great dummy for Doran's goal) Trafford good, he's found his feet at last. Chalmers influentila in first half, Polworth managed the game after Doran went off, and Welsh is a good engine. Backline pretty solid. Back into forth and we've pulled Ayr back. Shame they moved the game forward a day, otherwise I would have seen it live!

    • Inverness CT -V- Raith Rovers - Preview
The great escape coninues on Friday night at the Caledonian Stadium as we host Raith Rovers in a game that will also be screened live on BBC Scotland with Raith trying to cling on to the coat tails of Dundee United and the Caley Jags looking to slither away from the play-off zone. What could possibly go wrong? Savage and Carragher will be joined in the squad by a welcome returnee in Sean McAllister who has returned fit from Everton after about six weeks out. That's a nice wee bonus for Big Dunc. However, he has the wrath from Arbroath after his "tools down" comment in his pre-match interview. As long as he has not got the wrath from Raith. Keep the faith!

    • Queens Park 0-1 Inverness CT - Report
Massive: Just under 1500 fans rattled around inside the national stadium for the proverbial six-pointer at the bottom of the table with Inverness looking to get out of the play-off place and Queens one point ahead at the start of the game. In a tense first half Cammy Harper scored a stunning free kick after Cillian Sheridan had handled 25 yards out. Boom! That's how it ended despite QP upping their game in the second period as Inverness kept them at bay.

Hampden Calling: Carragher is now a doubt after feeling his hamstring. Other than that not much has changed apart from Remi Savage, who has not recovered after he got a boot in the face from Cammy Kerr. Apparently Kerr's boot is OK but Savage is suffering from minor concussion and will miss the next couple of games. Maybe that was Kerr ensuring he gets a game this weekend.

    • Inverness CT 2-1 Arbroath - Report
Smokies Kippered: On a blustery day more akin to AA Milne and Winnie the Pooh, Arbroath and Inverness battled it out to see who would get the final nails hammered into their coffins. Arbroath were in the last chance snug in the last chance saloon, whilst Inverness have one foot in the grave. I don't believe it! Arbroath tried everything, they even took their own wind with them. However, they had Murray, Bird and Slater on from the start but O'Brien missed out. Zak Delaney also started for the Red Lichties. A bright opening spell saw Alex Samuel denied twice inside five minutes. Once by a combination of Max Boruc and his crossbar, the second by Boruc on his own as Samuel got his shot away from inside the box. Wallace Duffy got the goal we deserved on the interval as he drove across the keeper from the right side of the box to put us in ahead at the break. Leighton McIntosh restored parity on the hour as he drilled home from eighteen yards, but Alex Samuel won the points with a late strike to all but relegate ten man Arbroath who had Ricky Little sent off.

It's Now or Never: That's what Elvis used to say. We are in deep trouble up to our necks with no signs that we can turn this around. Defeat to Arbroath could be the final nail in our coffin with only fifteen points available to us ahead of this game. The play-offs are looking more likely by the minute, but it's not beyond the realms of possibilty that automatic relegation is still an option should Arbroath beat us on Saturday. With the long suffering fans rapidly losing faith in Big Dunc, it's crunch time as Arbroath head North to the venue they won at the last time they were here. Sadly they come to the Caledonian Stadium off the back of a 2-1 midweek defeat to Airdrie, and we could all but relegate them on Saturday with a win. However, that's nothing to gloat about as we could be next...
