  1. A part of me is thinking it would be a good thing if Robbo gets offered the jambo's job. We get compensation and then we can look for a manager who is tactically more astute. Daft as it sounds Dick Campbell would be worth a punt. He has a decent record and has a track record of turning jobbers into winners ... and let's be fair we have a team of jobbers at the moment. Think Robbo has had his time and I don't think he is the man to take us up.

  6. Lots of moaning on here since the defeat to Dundee utd which concluded a third of the seasons games. Strikers are gash, Robbo needs to go as we were not improving etc were the views of many on here. So I decided to compile a little report card to see if this would highlight areas of improvement and causes for concern. So as you can see we have actually improved in many areas as our league position, points tally, our wins.our draws, our goals scored, the number of players getting on the scoeresheet and the number of players who have had assists have all improved compared to last year in the league. The major cause for concern is in defence with the goals conceded which has actually gone up by 50% which in turn has led us to losing 4 games when in fact we hadnt lost any last season at this stage. One poster, think it was Satan called for new defenders, and he was lambasted but he maybe isnt that far off the mark.

  9. Jake Mulraney (Hearts 5-2 St Mirren) Rory McAllister x2 (Clyde 1-2 Peterhead) Which I believe is his 3rd goal of the season. Must have being injured for a bit John Baird (Raith Rovers 3-1 Stranraer) Ally MacDonald (Brora Rangers 7-0 Buckie Thistle) Gavin Morrison (Brora Rangers 7-0 Buckie Thistle) Stunning free kick going by there twitter page. Can't see it beating his free kick against Ayr Andrew MacRae (Brora Rangers 7-0 Buckie Thistle)

  11. An absolutely disgraceful performance from start to finish. Our second half capitulation was as bad as anything I can recall witnessing. Embarrassing in the extreme. I'll be interested to here Robbo's spin on this one.

  12. Good and bad news here. Bad news is that I have never seen you post in such a manner. Good News is that you have just written a review that will be appreciated by Alan Simpson.

  13. After this we are not going up this season or even a play of time for John Robertson to go and get some one in who can do a better job

  14. We have shipped 6 goals in 2 games ... a little more than cause for concern. We haven't really performed well since the financial concerns have come to light. Quite a few players taking their eyes off the game and considering the end of the season. Might be time to start giving the youngsters more game time because to be fair we can't get any worse with the current crop of jobbers.

  17. Let's be honest he has been out of touch with reality of games for a few weeks now. Listening to his commentry after games differs greatly to what is happening on the pitch. It just isn't good enough.

  18. Absolute Shambles, 3-0 to Arbroath. What has happened to ICT.

  19. Wish he would take the jambo's job because we then get compo and can look for a more tactically aware and imaginatve manager. Would be worth looking at today's opponents manager - bags of experience, good track record, gets results from very limited budgets ...

  24. Stats paint the picture you want to see... Wins up...good Draws down...good Defeats up...bad Looks good that we have two 'improved' boxes checked but are less draws an improvement if you have lost most of those games you might have drawn?? Not really ? A few more games into the season and the stats will need serious reworking to paint a rosy picture in our current form. Bottom line, optimism is good but quarter season stats can turn bad quickly. Stick to the realism...it doesn't let you down.

  26. That's so insulting to the vast majority of our fans. We have no right to be in the top league. We have to get there on merit, but realistically with our budget and fan base it will always be hard. We punched above our weight for many years, and we need good leadership from the Board, Management Team and senior players to get back to those heights. Not impossible but with our financial position, it is getting harder. A play off place is our best hope this season realistically. A cup run would be a bonus too.

  27. Read it like this then... Until I'm told differently means when the chairman tells me I no longer have a job. Robbo will be going nowhere unless we punt him.

  29. As the song says "you don't know what you've lost till it's gone" Hope all the JH detractors and the RF agitators are enjoying their football. In case you think I am unconcerned at the club's present plight, I'm not but sometimes "people get what they deserve and deserve to get it good and hard". That's a quote from H L Mencken. As I said on the Robbo rumuor mill if the board had any ambition about getting out of this division Robbo would not be our manager. We are now a championship club with a championship support and finances and spending beyond our means as are a number of other clubs. That cannot continue.

  30. We were in the top league for years and wouldn't have went down with that squad not for the boards stubborness in sticking with a manager with no clue what he was doing but then again a lot of our "fans" on here hated Yogi remember! Far from impossible my man you'd think we were competing with PSG thexway some of the posters on here bleat on about things Livi done it on a far smaller budget by recruiting wisely! A play off spots the best well get now not what I'd be hoping for every season since we've been down I think we should've competed for the title but it's not happened why would that be an insult to any fan expecting to win a fairly poor league?

  31. What free fall we were in the relegation zone most of his 1st season every game with a bit of pressure on us i.e. Cup semi play offs we were soundly beaten! He's not spend whatever budget he's had wisely not 1 player we could sell on at a profit the football we play is brutal at times not help with the crowds ! Not once have we challenged for the league! A lot of our "fans" have zero expectations what's that all about I expected us to have been promoted by now and at the very least title challenges every season gotta think these fans just see ICT as a wee 2nd team they take an interest in behind there real team no doubts 1 half of the old firm

  32. Nothing except arrest the free fall we were in prior to his arrival. Nothing except coming within a minute and one goal of a play off place in his first season. Nothing except reaching the play off semi final last season. Nothing except challenging towards the top of the league and occupying a play off spot so far this season. All on a very small and ever diminishing budget in front of a small and ever diminishing home support.

    • Queens Park 0-1 Inverness CT - Report
Massive: Just under 1500 fans rattled around inside the national stadium for the proverbial six-pointer at the bottom of the table with Inverness looking to get out of the play-off place and Queens one point ahead at the start of the game. In a tense first half Cammy Harper scored a stunning free kick after Cillian Sheridan had handled 25 yards out. Boom! That's how it ended despite QP upping their game in the second period as Inverness kept them at bay.

Hampden Calling: Carragher is now a doubt after feeling his hamstring. Other than that not much has changed apart from Remi Savage, who has not recovered after he got a boot in the face from Cammy Kerr. Apparently Kerr's boot is OK but Savage is suffering from minor concussion and will miss the next couple of games. Maybe that was Kerr ensuring he gets a game this weekend.

    • Inverness CT 2-1 Arbroath - Report
Smokies Kippered: On a blustery day more akin to AA Milne and Winnie the Pooh, Arbroath and Inverness battled it out to see who would get the final nails hammered into their coffins. Arbroath were in the last chance snug in the last chance saloon, whilst Inverness have one foot in the grave. I don't believe it! Arbroath tried everything, they even took their own wind with them. However, they had Murray, Bird and Slater on from the start but O'Brien missed out. Zak Delaney also started for the Red Lichties. A bright opening spell saw Alex Samuel denied twice inside five minutes. Once by a combination of Max Boruc and his crossbar, the second by Boruc on his own as Samuel got his shot away from inside the box. Wallace Duffy got the goal we deserved on the interval as he drove across the keeper from the right side of the box to put us in ahead at the break. Leighton McIntosh restored parity on the hour as he drilled home from eighteen yards, but Alex Samuel won the points with a late strike to all but relegate ten man Arbroath who had Ricky Little sent off.

It's Now or Never: That's what Elvis used to say. We are in deep trouble up to our necks with no signs that we can turn this around. Defeat to Arbroath could be the final nail in our coffin with only fifteen points available to us ahead of this game. The play-offs are looking more likely by the minute, but it's not beyond the realms of possibilty that automatic relegation is still an option should Arbroath beat us on Saturday. With the long suffering fans rapidly losing faith in Big Dunc, it's crunch time as Arbroath head North to the venue they won at the last time they were here. Sadly they come to the Caledonian Stadium off the back of a 2-1 midweek defeat to Airdrie, and we could all but relegate them on Saturday with a win. However, that's nothing to gloat about as we could be next...

Big Trouble Down the Dump: Billy Mckay was back in the starting XI along with Samson Lawal with Pepple dropping to the bench and Shaw out for the season. Both teams had seven on the bench with Roddy MacGregor getting a rare seat. Scott Robinson scored the only goal of the game just before the break. Inverness were reduced to ten men when Cammy Kerr was sent off just after an hour. Despite creating more opportunities, the points just evaded us.

      Meh!
