  1. Obviously I'm biased because I commentated for their audio stream last season but it is just bizarre. They even ran a successful test broadcast of the Dundee game to prove they could do it - with on screen graphics and in-game replays to boot! And yet the club still chooses to pay for Pixellot instead of using skilled, experienced volunteers...even though they're filming the game anyway. Then they use the CaleyJagsTV highlights too, which just emphasizes the difference in quality. It is a really, really strange decision by the club.

  2. Its not a new thing .... The club often seem to have had an issue listening to, acknowledging the capabilities of, or quality of service from, volunteers. Countless examples over the years of them going and doing something completely different, costing more money, because its 'professional' when they had a perfectly good or superior product in place already. The TV coverage is a prime example .. and there are plenty more. Seems to be a couple of basic mindsets at play where it has to be a specific person's idea or its not getting any traction regardless of performance (the MyWay or Highwa

  3. The stunning lack of creativity in this team was on full display tonight. We might have been missing players but so were QotS so I am not having that as an excuse. Storey and Mackay, whilst willing and hard working on the flanks did not create enough throughout the time they were on the pitch to have us in a more comfortable position. A good cross by Mackay in the first half which found Storey who saw his effort deflect over / wide was as good as it got. When MacGregor came on later on and popped up on the left side he was continuously looking to cut back in on his right and with no support do

  4. I'll give it the benefit of doubt and chalk that down to the lack of match practice recently. Everything was just a bit flat. If we're still seeing the same after the next 3 or 4 games then we're in a bit of trouble.

  5. Kai Kennedy and roddy starting the game was the difference in that game. Has roddy fallen out with robbo or something for him to be on the bench?

  6. OK, does it matter? none of them are going to score.

  9. Common theme. Look comfortable and in control for large parts of the game. Inability to create clear cut chances. Inability to score half chances we get. Concede far too easily. Positive me thinks there is a decent team there and it's down to a lack of match practice and sharpness due to the fragmented number of games over the last 2 months. I am hopeful it will click into place and we will hit a run of form and climb table. Negative me thinks our central defence is worryingly soft, we have a lack of wingers to create anything, we have a lack of a g

  10. Pathetic. Same as always. We create very little, have plenty of rubbish shots from distance then take Todorov on and punt long aimless balls at him. Why not change tactics or tinker with the formation. Even when we make subs its usually like for like. We must be so easy to play against because we do the same thing every week.

  11. We've played worse than that and won. I thought we had some decent build up play and put them under a lot of pressure, but too often we hadn't got the close control or inventiveness to create clear cut chances. Then when we did shoot, the shooting was woeful. Maybe lacking a bit of confidence and match sharpness, but we don't have anybody who looks as though they could score goals on a regular basis and that's a worry.

  14. Whilst I appreciate the team is lacking game time that was diabolical. Irrespective of games in hand we are in dire straits. Compare and contrast tonight with the game in Dumfries back in December - night and day.

  15. Well, that consolidates 9th place for a while. Just shows that games in hand are meaningless if you can't win them. Probably didn't deserve to lose tonight but second half performance left a lot to be desired. Coupled with the awful commentary that was a tenner well spent, I don't thinl!

  16. Mediocre performance by mediocre players with mediocre tactics and management, But we've got games in hand!!!!

  17. That's enough to finish anyone's interest in this awful season. Not good enough for play-off ambitions at top end of the table. Oh how we need a decent playmaker and a top goal scorer. Too many stray passes and poor attempts at goal.

  18. Dear oh dear. A rather inept showing all round. Queens will be very pleased with that...only came for a point!

  19. Better team by far but not many chances. We could easily have been 2 up but for the woodwork and the goalie. That said, we need to play the full game this time and not switch off in the second half. Looked at the BBC stats. We’ve had 8 attempts, 3 on target. Queens have had no attempts. Can anyone work out if it is still windy? If it is, I hope we won the toss and chose to change ends as, if not, we may be under a lot of pressure. I agree he has too many stats, but cut the commentator a bit of slack. He’s seeing the same stream that we are, and we were not all agreed on who hit

  22. Yes, the commentary is turgid again. Should have had a lesson from the Arbroath boys, who were entertaining throughout.

  23. Queens have had their decent run and now it's time to bring them back to reality with a good old fashioned gubbing in the windswept highlands 😁

Deal or No Deal: After a season that promised so much, went tit's up then almost recovered in time to make the play-offs, we head into season 2021-2022 without some familiar faces but also some new ones as we continue our drive to get back to the Premiership. Are the cards on the table or have some already played their hand. So far Tom Walsh is the first 'new player' to sign on, let's hope there's plenty more to come.

    • It's Doddsy
After a great run towards the end of last season, Billy Dodds has been appointed as the new head coach at Inverness Caledonian Thistle with John Robertson now upstairs as Sporting Director on his return after compassionate leave. Dodds assisted Neil McCann whilst Robbo was unavailable and just failed to guide the team to a play-off slot after what had become a difficult season on and off the pitch.

APPLY WITHIN: The application forms are already in the post as Inverness Caledonian Thistle are searching for a new head coach after it was revealed that John Robertson is returning, but his new title will be Sporting Director. That leaves his former position of Football Manager/Head Coach up for grabs after interim manager Neil McCann left the post at the end of the season.

    • Inverness CT 2-2 Ayr United - Report
Season ends in stalemate: Inverness opened the scoring early through Daniel Mackay in the sixth minute. We were unable to build on that and Ayr levelled before the break when Aaron Muirhead converted a penalty after Baird went down in the box. Level at the break but Sean Welsh bagged a penalty two minutes into the second half only for United to level again through Josh Todd. No further scoring but results elsewhere meant that Ayr were safe and Dundee jumped above Raith Rovers to finish second.

    • Football Unites against discrimination
Governing and league bodies across both the men’s and women’s games join forces with clubs to cease activity on social media from 15:00 BST on Friday 30 April to 23:59 BST on Monday 3 May. Not sure if this was aimed at supporter sites and their social media channels, but in the interests of solidarity and because we wholeheartedly support this initiative, we will also cease any and all social media posts from tomorrow until Tuesday. The forum will operate as normal, we just wont be promoting anything to our FB/Twitter etc.
