  1. We are probably feeling a little disappointed not to get all 3 points today, but our recent good form makes it easy to forget what a hugely difficult and challenging season it has been for the club. Today's results mean that we are now mathematically safe from relegation. Instead, we are now very much in the mix for the promotion play-offs and have a cup match to look forward too after having deservedly beaten our Premiership neighbours. Anything more than what has been achieved already will be a real bonus. Huge congratulations to all at the club who have made this possible.

  2. I can just about see the justification for not playing at the same time as the funeral, but moving all those fixtures is going to inconvenience loads of people. So the ideal solution would be to play the funeral under the lights.

  3. I could just about see the justification for disrupting the football schedule for the funeral of the monarch herself but for a consort surely today's silence followed by a similar show of respect on the day of the funeral would suffice. The death of a very elderly man is extremely sad for his family and those who knew and loved him but we have not postponed football matches for the sake of the 140 000 or so who have died in the past year or so either directly or indirectly from Covid and I am unconvinced that it is appropriate or necessary to do so next Saturday either.

  4. The teams all had a minute silence today as a mark of respect so why should they need to shift the time of the game as there will not be anyone from the clubs going to the funeral.

  7. Whilst it would be good if they did, it is very unlikely Dundee will lose all their games. We need to focus on winning our last three league games. If we could pick results to suit us, Dunfermline have been struggling recently and are at home to Dundee and Queen of the South before we play next in the league, so the best outcome for us would be Dundee beating Dunfermline, Raith beating Queen of the South and Queen of the South beating Dunfermline. Chances are that won’t all happen, but if it did we’d still be fourth doing into the Dundee game. Our best option is definitely to fo

  8. Absolutely. Unbeaten run extended and no ground lost to our promotion rivals. Definitely a glass half full scenario.

  9. Draw was fair. That's a decent point against a decent side.

  10. Dissappointed we didn't sneak the win today but the more I look at the fixtures, at my horoscope and to karma I really believe our most likely route to the playoffs is actually Dundee losing all their games. Dunfermline or queens knock each other out of a place but in doing so they both beat Dundee who have to play Raith, Queens, Dunfermline and Caley Thistle. I know hearts and inverness fans would love that.

  11. Can we be King of Queens? Down to the nitty gritty now and another crucial game ahead as we travel to Palmerston Park Dumfries for what is the start of the proverbial six-pointers with only four games left in the Championship. Queens on Saturday at 3:00pm, our sixth away game out of the last seven, then Dundee (H), Hearts (A), Ayr United (H). It's a difficult closing run to the season when you consider our immediate target, Dunfermline, close out the season against bottom teams Arbroath and Alloa. As the table stands, we are only three points ahead of Queens going in to this game a

  12. Tight as a ducks erse This crucial game ended in stalemate as did the entire Championship fixture list. In a tight first half both keepers had saves to make with Ridgers probably the busier. Queens opened the scoring on the hour when the defence allowed Fitzpatrick to run forty yards unchallenged to fire high past Ridgers. Toddy levelled minutes later from a Storey cross, heading down into the bottom corner for his tenth goal this season. No further scoring with Inverness finishing the game on top but unable to get the winner. Inverness went down to Dumfries for their sixth aw

    • Inverness CT 2-2 Ayr United - Report
Season ends in stalemate: Inverness opened the scoring early through Daniel Mackay in the sixth minute. We were unable to build on that and Ayr levelled before the break when Aaron Muirhead converted a penalty after Baird went down in the box. Level at the break but Sean Welsh bagged a penalty two minutes into the second half only for United to level again through Josh Todd. No further scoring but results elsewhere meant that Ayr were safe and Dundee jumped above Raith Rovers to finish second.

Governing and league bodies across both the men’s and women’s games join forces with clubs to cease activity on social media from 15:00 BST on Friday 30 April to 23:59 BST on Monday 3 May. Not sure if this was aimed at supporter sites and their social media channels, but in the interests of solidarity and because we wholeheartedly support this initiative, we will also cease any and all social media posts from tomorrow until Tuesday. The forum will operate as normal, we just wont be promoting anything to our FB/Twitter etc.

    • Inverness CT -V- Ayr United - Preview
For us, it's the final game of the season as we have missed out on the promotion play-offs despite a tremendous last six weeks which saw us go on a six game winning run including a derby Scottish Cup win over Ross County. Unfortunately we left ourselves an uphill task after the first two thirds of our season was decimated by injuries, covid and inclement weather. Ayr United head North with Championship survival high on their agenda as they look to avoid the relegation play-offs with Arbroath and Morton the other contenders. The game is a 19:45 kick-off on Friday night.

    • Hearts 3-0 Inverness CT - Report
Our season looked over inside ten minutes after Mackay-Steven ran at the defence before drilling a low shot into the bottom corner as the defenders backed off. McEneff doubled the lead with the aid of a deflection in the ninth minute to nestle the ball in the bottom corner again. Mackay-Steven notched his second as he poked his leg in between Deas and Ridgers to kill the game with half an hour gone. The second half was an anti-climax for both sides with no further scoring, and with results elsewhere our challenge has come to an end.

    • Hearts -V- Inverness CT - Preview

After the disappointing draw with Dundee in midweek, our destiny is in the hands of others. All we can do is gather points and hope that others can lend a helping hand by taking points of Dunfermline and Dundee as we visit Tynecastle to take on Champions Hearts. All games kick-off at 3:00pm on Saturday, it's a massive day of football in the Championship.
