  1. It's a must to get another goal we can't hang on to a one nil lead, we have to take advantage of their shaky deffence and run at them more.

  2. That's not good Yngwie I hope you will be ok and it's just a case of self isolating, look after yourself.

  3. Was planning on going to this match until Covid struck me down yesterday. But if you are the religious type, don’t pray for me, pray for 3 points!

  4. That second half performance was pitiful. We didn't even try and attack until they equalised. First half was okay but nothing special. Barely created anything bar the goal. I don't know if the players play with fear, or a lack of bite (I'm not saying they aren't trying, it's that bit of aggression or making that run off the ball). Mentality is half the battle.

  5. Absolutely clueless management that clearly have NO idea how to change a game or at least tactics . Actually glad there wasn’t a home game this week as they are a very hard watch these days . Obviously it was McCann that was the coach when they arrived and not Dodds . Same excuses and he will have positives from the match . Really don't hear many agreeing with him .

  6. Almost as many draws as wins now. Quite a few of those draws were of the hanging on at the end variety. Without our strong start where would we be?

  7. I’m starting to feel the club is not wanting to be promoted and is happy being at this level. Time for them to prove me wrong. We do seem to have the ability, but perhaps not the ambition and desire. Either that or the game plan when we go ahead is so flawed that we keep messing up. Kilmarnock away next weekend and if we lose that, we will soon be out of the play off places depending on other results and the games in hand over us other clubs have.

  8. Another frustrating second half, letting the other team back in. I think we definitely have the players to do well, but I do question the coaching / desire to be more ruthless, from the management. I can almost predict the post match interview from BD!

  9. Turning into another massively disappointing season. Promotion was there for the taking if we could have shown a bit of character. Really poor result today.

  10. The point is all we deserved from that. A very poor second half, and we only really showed anything going forward after we conceded. We seem unable to play when we take the lead now and we always seem to let teams back into games we should be winning. So frustrating.

  11. Disagreeing is one thing calling it out of hand is entirely different, as it implies that only your opinion is valid. Anyway away and twitch your curtains

  14. Last time I looked we were 2nd in the table, with a game in hand, having lost just 4 games all season, we had a great run at the start of the season, as we did at the end of last season, and yes whilst we've struggled a bit recently, with different players having issues, and with what seems like a bit of dressing room unrest (dealt with) but very few teams, especially on a small budget can expect to go all season firing on all cylinders. Every player brought in so far this year has done all right [save perhaps Duku, who hopefully will have a purple patch soon]. Can we get Carson firing again in midfield rather than RB or can we get good combo's in Welsh/Mclear/MacGregor and the two new boys. Seen some good comments for both of the new boys on twitter from fans of their mother clubs, so I'm hopeful The defence looks a bit short so we might need a fresh face there

  15. One reason we are not now top of the league is throwing away the lead against a poor Dunfermline team when we last played them in Inverness to, in the end, come away with nothing. We need to remedy that tomorrow. We are better than the Pars, the league table demonstrates that, it's essential that we prove that on the pitch and keep our promotion push firmly on track. Nothing less than 3 points will do.

  16. How about giving them a chance before condemning them out of hand.

    • Inverness CT -V- Raith Rovers - Preview
The great escape coninues on Friday night at the Caledonian Stadium as we host Raith Rovers in a game that will also be screened live on BBC Scotland with Raith trying to cling on to the coat tails of Dundee United and the Caley Jags looking to slither away from the play-off zone. What could possibly go wrong? Savage and Carragher will be joined in the squad by a welcome returnee in Sean McAllister who has returned fit from Everton after about six weeks out. That's a nice wee bonus for Big Dunc. However, he has the wrath from Arbroath after his "tools down" comment in his pre-match interview. As long as he has not got the wrath from Raith. Keep the faith!

    • Queens Park 0-1 Inverness CT - Report
Massive: Just under 1500 fans rattled around inside the national stadium for the proverbial six-pointer at the bottom of the table with Inverness looking to get out of the play-off place and Queens one point ahead at the start of the game. In a tense first half Cammy Harper scored a stunning free kick after Cillian Sheridan had handled 25 yards out. Boom! That's how it ended despite QP upping their game in the second period as Inverness kept them at bay.

Hampden Calling: Carragher is now a doubt after feeling his hamstring. Other than that not much has changed apart from Remi Savage, who has not recovered after he got a boot in the face from Cammy Kerr. Apparently Kerr's boot is OK but Savage is suffering from minor concussion and will miss the next couple of games. Maybe that was Kerr ensuring he gets a game this weekend.

    • Inverness CT 2-1 Arbroath - Report
Smokies Kippered: On a blustery day more akin to AA Milne and Winnie the Pooh, Arbroath and Inverness battled it out to see who would get the final nails hammered into their coffins. Arbroath were in the last chance snug in the last chance saloon, whilst Inverness have one foot in the grave. I don't believe it! Arbroath tried everything, they even took their own wind with them. However, they had Murray, Bird and Slater on from the start but O'Brien missed out. Zak Delaney also started for the Red Lichties. A bright opening spell saw Alex Samuel denied twice inside five minutes. Once by a combination of Max Boruc and his crossbar, the second by Boruc on his own as Samuel got his shot away from inside the box. Wallace Duffy got the goal we deserved on the interval as he drove across the keeper from the right side of the box to put us in ahead at the break. Leighton McIntosh restored parity on the hour as he drilled home from eighteen yards, but Alex Samuel won the points with a late strike to all but relegate ten man Arbroath who had Ricky Little sent off.

It's Now or Never: That's what Elvis used to say. We are in deep trouble up to our necks with no signs that we can turn this around. Defeat to Arbroath could be the final nail in our coffin with only fifteen points available to us ahead of this game. The play-offs are looking more likely by the minute, but it's not beyond the realms of possibilty that automatic relegation is still an option should Arbroath beat us on Saturday. With the long suffering fans rapidly losing faith in Big Dunc, it's crunch time as Arbroath head North to the venue they won at the last time they were here. Sadly they come to the Caledonian Stadium off the back of a 2-1 midweek defeat to Airdrie, and we could all but relegate them on Saturday with a win. However, that's nothing to gloat about as we could be next...
