I've never really understood the 'it's better that we're out of the cup so we can concentrate on the league' type of thinking. These guys are full time professional athletes, it really shouldn't be an issue. If I recall the season we finished 3rd in the Premiership was when we won the Scottish Cup.

I totally agree Fraz. We are in need of a cup run next season it is extra games to play but means more money for the club and if we get a decent run in any cup it brings more fans on board.

What’s the difference? I know that when one of whichever it was was set off downwind of us, it was so choking we used our face masks to breathe until it cleared. Not nice for anyone with a bad chest or asthma.

Flares burn hot enough to melt steel and have an exposed flame, they are intentionally difficult to put out as designed for marine use. Smoke bombs do burn a bit but internally at much lower temperature. They are very different.

I really think we need a tall striker, a target man, so, that if the game isn't going our way, we can change tactics, and, as we seem to like the long punt up the park, it would be nice if we could actually win some balls in the air, instead of our opponents centre backs winning everything and it coming straight back at us. In the last couple of seasons we had White and Todorov, and it gave us options. We play our best football on the deck with short quick passing moves, and we have got a lot of joy from it, but there is no use bringing on a small striker to replace a small striker when that isn't working, if we need to go route one, then we need the personnel to do it.

And in 2004 we won the League and the Challenge Cup and took the Pars to a replay in the Semi of the Scottish.

There are so many small things that the club could be doing, but don't seem too bothered about. At a meeting with the supporters a few seasons ago, it was said that the clubs intention was to improve the match day experience for the supporters, and I realise we have had covid since then, but nothing has changed, in fact it's worse. We can't usually find anyone selling raffle tickets, and with the club needing every penny you'd think they would be pushing this. There hasn't been a physical programme for a number of seasons now, and the online programme has now disappeared also. Where is our mascot Lionel Nessi? With the club attracting a larger contingent of younger supporters, you would think that it would be great to have the mascot around. I see that the team OTB have already set their season ticket advertising in motion on Facebook, but nothing from us. If it wasn't for the lads on the Wyness Shuffle, where would we get any of our information from? Certainly not the club.

I think this is the wrong decision for UK viewers and beyond. If COVID has taught us anything it is that the virtual space can be a revenue generator when used correctly. Whether that's a centralised service from the SPFL or clubs on their own, the monies obviously spent in upgrading infrastructure for live streaming should not go to waste. I am sure there are many people who might consider a virtual season ticket, one-off games, or even a season pass for all games (if it were centralised with revenue splits for all clubs). Also think that season ticket holders should still get this perk (either natively or as an optional add-in for £1 or £2 per game surcharge) as they already have a ticket whether they use it or not … in fact, it may be a selling point or a decision maker on whether to buy that season book or not for out of town fans who think they may only get to games every so often but know they could view online. The one caveat would be the cost to the club - if it can be self-financing or sponsored so its not a drain on resources then that's fine, but if the bandwidth and other costs are higher than the revenue then it is understandable to wind it down a bit or only do it where it might make sense.

I think it's a shame the PPV going too. I think this is additional income for clubs especially away fans who won't travel but will buy a stream. Shame really...

I largely agree with you apart from PPV. I don't think this has had a huge impact on either our home crowds or travelling support and does generate a net profit for the club. More importantly, it allows those who live too far from Inverness to make regular attendance practical those elderly fans and others with mobility issues and those who are ill to share the action live with their fellow fans. I doubt if the football authorities will agree but I personally would love to see that facility continued and enhanced.

It's only seen as frightening and uncomfortable because that's the image we portray of them in the media and via fuddy duddies on forums. Create the space to allow it in a manner which poses no risk to others and let them get on with it; after all, it's not like our stadiums are so rammed we can't accommodate it. I think it was Scotty I've seen talking about his happening in Canada? If we could also have mixed family areas, that would be great. Stop telling each new generation they are animals that can't be trusted to sit next to opposition fans. People aren't born to misbehave, but if we keep telling them that it's what is expected, they will soon conform. Let's put wheels in motion on all sides to put an end to that in football and enjoy mixed crowds like we see in so many other sports around the world.

Seeing as we are now going to be bored until the league cup campaign starts in July, I thought I'd start this thread for any signings made (once that happens) and transfer rumours and I don't want to hear the Lewis Horner one because I think it's a lot of bull! Not a rumour but I see Chris Hamilton has been released by Hearts so hopefully he's on our radar Hopefully we hear asap who's being retained and released so we can have an idea on what we need
