  1. Bottom line is we should be aiming for 4th and, injuries permitting, I think we have a fair chance of achieving this objective. On a separate note it was my first post-match visit to Bar 94 on Saturday as my 6 year old nephew was after autographs and photos with the players. To a man they were accommodating, enthusiastic and very pleasant towards both myself and the little fella. It's a great initiative and a huge thank you to all the players for their time on Saturday.

  2. "I think I was really unfortunate I lost my job through administration" Really? I think you were lucky you lost it that way ... at least you don't have a performance related sacking on your record which you would undoubtedly have had, or should have had, had you not been let go in the first 5 minutes of administration. SK has shown what can be done with the bare bones of the same squad when tactics and training are applied by an actual manager.

  3. A reality check! Any money or offers will be considered. Gutted but just illustrates where we are at moment.

  4. Extremely disappointing news. I thought Cammy Harper's move to Carlisle was ill advised but Keith has trumped that. He must have the worst agent in Scottish football. A massive sideways move for a lad who should be aiming much higher than a struggling Championship side.

  5. Interesting interviews from the 2 managers. I don't know what game Murphy was watching but his interview was sh*te from start to finish. It is pretty disrespectful too, but it is such nonsense that instead of feeling annoyed or angry, one can't help laughing. Scott has it absolutely spot on though. A very honest, objective and intelligent take on the game.

  6. It’s good to see Ferguson junior land a team. Hopefully without the pressure of being with a team managed by his father lets him find his way in life and the game.

  8. I think this is a great post. We might be in great form and that could continue, but we would be expecting a lot of teams to just fall apart. I think we need to concentrate on just catching what’s in front of us. I would take 8th this season. Anything higher will be a very pleasant surprise after what we have went through.

  14. The other sides view by the manager. I always rated big tel for praising the other side if they beat us. Leave you guys and gals to decide this dudes take on the game. I couldn’t have been at the same game as him yesterday. That’s as polite as I can put it. lump the ball long. Yellow cards for non tackles. our goal was a miss hit, their chance the player hit it too good. Wow. should have stopped the interview when the lights went out.

  15. This large colour photo appeared in today’s PandJ. It’s of Billy Urquhart receiving a barometer from Chairman Norman Miller on the occasion of Billy’s 600th appearance for Caley in 1992. Among those who can be seen elsewhere in the photo are John Beaton, Derek Dewar and Jimmy Falconer. In 1994, Billy would appropriately have the honour of scoring the last competitive goal at Telford Street in a 1-0 victory over Thistle in May 1994… predictably with a header. Ironically, Billy was no longer a registered Caley player by this time, but was played for sentimental and “political” reasons… attracting a £250 fine. He went on also to play a limited number of games for Caley Thistle in the first season 1994-95.

    • Stenhousemuir 1-1 Inverness CT - League 1
Billy Mckay broke the deadlock with a tremendous strike and threatened on another two or three occasions thereafter. Extra late drama as Stenhousemuir equalised in a scramble with either a Gilmour own goal or a Fisher bundle over the line. Meh!

FULL TIME 0-2: After last weeks win at Cove, this was a massive disappointment. The only thing in our favour was that Annan lost as well and they remain three points behind us. It's the Caley Thistle Way; one step forward and two steps backward. Another difficult game next week away to Stenhousemuir.
