Butcher Criticism
Well at least IHE puts his stall out front and does make the effort to comment on the team's performance both individually and collectively whereas some of his detractors never pass an opinion on the team at all so let's hear from them with their opinions........ hat would be fairer and more constructive than running down IHE in a fit of pique. My opinion ? ....well , I always start off an opinionated opinion with "well". Secondly, Butcher does have to work with what he has but increasingly it seems that Brew may not have solely been the fault in the deterioration of the first half of the season.I have consistently said that the players job is to keep their quite highly paid mouths closed and to follow the boss's instructions plus trying to be as constructive and co-operative as possible which , from all reports, was not always the case in the past under Brew. I think Terry is more outspoken and voluble than Brew who admittedly was not the most communicative and personable of people. But, without the co-operation and the other assists needed from the players as described above even he will need all his experience and skills to keep this team in a cohesive unit formation and avoid the drop. The defeat (5-0) by Rangers may be written off as definitely a bad headache day but the Falkirk result cannot be viewed as anything but a very serious and awful defeat. Another downer like that and ICT will be facing relegation for sure. Frankly speaking Tery Butcher and Maurice Malpas have their work cut out now to get this team to be winneres aand the next few weeks will be very interesting indeed. Hope I don't upset Charles with these few obtuse comments.....?

Ict -v- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
Miss ICT-- I also have just watched thehighlights. Did you find that the video kept stopping and restarting continually? Or was it that the effort of getting to Canada just exhausted it's energy?

Mcghee's Motherwell...
Every dog has it's day--let them enjoy their's the noo. But that statement is a very far -reaching one and there is another statement that mer its consideration : " there's many a slip 'twixt cup and lip". It's a funny old game when one season it's a world -beating team and the next it has turned into little more than a reasonably-functional one. So beware, Mr McGhee--time will telleth all.

Terry should keep Lionel--on form he is awesome and must strike the fear of death into quite a few defenders. What a grand spirit....eh?: Lionel, Lionel your'e so black And you are no half bad when you're on the attack Rampaging up and down the wing You appear to be determined to make your mark And show us all your mighty spark Keep it up and I'll arrange an intro to Footballer's Wife Who will hug you big and tell you that you are the "petal" thing So if you like living on the edge, courting trouble without the strife Grasp the nettle, show us your mettle, and see what happens when you offer to buy her a large diamond ring.

Russel Duncan (merged)
Just listen to yourselves folks. In one breath you say it's fine to cheat, even mandatory, if it means ICT can get a penalty and then in the same breath lambast Duncan for the same offence out in midfield. What on earth are youi talking about? With that kind of reasoning we can no doubt expect you also to cheat when it seems to suit your purpose...hmmmm? Come off it boys, cheating is cheating and it is not related to integrity or good conduct. Remember the saying.."watch out for treachery in others..... and in yourself"!

Feature On Brewster On Sky Sports News
Now if he had gone into the team to show them all how to do it he would have got stuck with the situatuionand then every time the team faltered the recognised players would look woefully to Brew etc... No on for a Manager to be constantly "showing": his players what is required, methinks.

Lizi :thumb04: :018: --- Lionel probably will sit out the next couple of games because they are so crucial but in truth he has accomplished as much as he has done "wrong" and I mention the last word advisedly because overall he deserves a heck of lot of praise. Anyway IHE is just winding you all up so match him word for word .... Go on , have a real go.

Ian Black
Manfer a midfield general? You mean a middle-aged general. :thumb04: And you should hear the things he says about Scarlet's typing. Streuth,he was telling me in the chatroom in front of all the lovely young things that I should get a key board like those calculators where the space between the keys is ...well...very large. I mean where is the respect for his elders these days. I was black affronted so ah wuz. MBwhatever--just take it all in your stride and don't take yourself too seriously and just give the saucy monkey as good as you get. That's what I say...

Djebi-zadi
This is entertainment gents, would you prefer a stolid totally boring left back with no flair at all. Stuffy to a fault. You go to the fitba to have a good time and a thrill. Zebi achieved more than that for you --he plays his heart out--what more can you expect---- eh? And he is on the winning team so to speak. In other words his contribution is massive because HE INSPIRES THE TEAM TO TURN IT ON ALSO! SO IT DOES NOT MATTER A TUPPENY TOSS WHETHER HE MAKES A MISTAKE BECAUSE THAT IS ONLY A REMINDER THAT HE, LIKE US , IS HUMAN--AND BY THE WAY, AS THE FRIENDS HAVE POINTED OUT ON HERE, SO IARE MOST OF THE OTHER PLAYERS IN THE TEAM. lET'S FACE IT, ON OCCASION TODAY, ESSON WAS A BIT LUCKY IN THE BREAKS DEPARTMENT IT SEEMS. Oops sorry about the caps. Fingers bitten down to the stubs today. LOL Zebi for MOM in the cup.

Pavels
I have said all along for long enough that the defence needed to be strengthened as a priority. Hopefully a contract with some kind of get-out clause could be arranged and should be arranged without further delay. Believe it, if this does not occur there are plenty of other clubs that will have noticed his progress and apparent steadiness. Vision please Board!
