Inverness CT -V- Dundee Utd
Kind of got the feeling too that D U were not that immersed in the game. Pity really, since they did have winning talent. But, apparently, have not had their best bits of Scottish luck this season. However......if adversity can have such a negative effect, then what about the adversities that have affected our team which have NOThad a long- lasting effect? Adversities my eye! It's all about desire to win and spirit. Our team has it and that's why we are going to win the Scottish Cup. Ciftci had some unfortunate misses though, for sure. A bit unbelievable for a talented, experienced guy. Clever enough he is so why has he resorted to questionable tactics in the past to make his mark? Poor John Rankin--wasn't able to make his mark either was he? Seems like John R has now been around a bit since leaving ICT--wonder how much longer his career will now last? Once a bit of a fixture in the team but now seems to have faded into more of a journeyman player. Anyone agree or disagree?

East Fife--Yes, once the most sought after team in Scotland who won almost everything in sight (in Scotland) which eventually did them in--they played so many exhibition games in England that they just wore themselves out. That was a long time ago ...but true. I saw some good football at Bayview when I lived in Methil in my early twenties. Well, you can't win 'em all I guess.

From what I've seen of him he's a good player. Yet his temperament is a handicap unless he goes on a rapid maturing course.- Good Luck

Post #6 Mainstander: ---- Very close to what I was thinking. Even moreso , you just never know but the beaks may be sending a message that the only two teams in their opinion who really deserve any full-blown respect are "You know Who" and " Who knows You". Or attempting to downplay the excellent performances of Falkirk and Caley Thistle as being of little importance in their general scheme of things. All things considered it seems to me that this selection of referee is as much a slap down as anything.- Replacement Striker?
Biggin your pardon Begin the Beguine but I fear that you may be closer to the truth of the matter than one may suppose.- Good Luck
Bairnees are beautiful and Bairns are braw. But, sorry to disappoint you 'cos chances are youse willnae hae a kick at the ba'. Onyhoo--may the best team win and let's hope it's a great game...eh?- Cup Final ticket sales
May-be someone is asleep at the wheel and also think that the match is in ....August. . Meantime, so long as you lovely punters are March-ing to Hampden then the April showers in May won't bother you really.- Cup Final ticket sales
Only 10,000? Are you serious? What a small allocation for such an August occasion for them. Unflattering and a poor reflection on Falkirk isn't it. Who do the Authorities think are going to fill Hampden with figures like that?- Replacement Striker?
Oh My! Caley dawson My two eyes don' t read at the same pace. One forges ahead whilst the other one is lagging behind and grasping at straws, So I misread your post and thought you had said.......in terms of a lawn mower we don't know what the Dons will be paying" ..... and immediately assumed in a flash of inspiration that they were looking for a groundsman.. But now, using my newly-built-in eye adjuster, I figured it all out . Me? I like Willo Flood's style. Have you noticed that, once he's on the ball, his distriburtion is controlled and effective and he raerely loses it when he gets it. And the last goal I saw from him was a belter and a thing of beauty; dynamic like,. And just a mention ------ Rooney is surely belting them in --winning awards and so forth. Other than that I don't particularly rate Aberdeen. Methinks ICT has more class, more oomph, more crowd-pleasing moves and more skill. YESSSSSS!- Strengthening for Europe
Bughtie-- I gave you a like for your above since it's based on that inestimable quality.= of...............common sense. Since Chas Bannerman also gave you a like for your post something of an eye-opener has occurred.---- Chas and Uncle Scarlet are finally on the same page. Wheeeeee!- Dundee -V- Inverness CT
Ryan Esson seems to have had a stormer of a game today. Congratulations to players, Management and staff at the club for an absolutely incredible season.- Inverness CT -V- Dundee Utd
From the first time I saw him I thought that Williams was a likely lad. Determination written all over his play. And one of his goals very close to the beginning of this season was a cracker. I'm very pleased that this hard-working lad is coming into contention for a regular place in the team all of which should lead to his maturing into a dynamic player for ICT--if he wants to continue to put out the effort. Look how Ryan Christie has come on......... Seems like a great win indeed- Cup Final ticket sales
Heh Dougal--the main thing is that you are GOING!- Rio loses wife

On another note, deep satisfaction that you have won this award. Richly deserved Mr. Hughes. And great kudos also to Mr. Cameron for supporting you wholeheartedly through thick and thin. What a team.- Yogi manager of the Year
IHE it's quite obvious that you don't suffer from prostatitis and all body parts are working as they should. But, ooh you are the only man in town that can make a Pimple blush. But you would never know it 'cos I'm red all over as it is. Ha! Ha!- Rio loses wife
Laurence..my Doctor told me a few months ago that every man over 70 has some form of cancer in that region. My Dad had an enlarged prostate and so do I though not quite as bad as he had ......... yet. I take an Arthrotec pill (to reduce the inflammatory process of arthritis in the joints) on the odd occasion when it needs to be attended to. This inhibits or stops the production of prostaglandins which directs the inflammatory processes all round the body so the pressure on the nerves subsides along with the pain. Prostate cancer is slow growing as I understand it. Need to keep an eye on the annual PSA readings of the blood test results...... Finding a cure is the 21st Century challenge of the world isn't it?- Terry Butcher

Humberside Dude. The pub at Blacktoft was deffo on the South side of the river because I remember the river ran to my right (Eastwards) as I approached it's hallowed portals. Smile. The lass who was associated with that pub took me under her wing, met me off the train in Hull where she was a nurse and took me to the pictures. So, to recapitulate..my father's sister lived in a little cottage very near the pub on the South side of the river Humber. She was married to Mr. Ollie Freeman, as I recall, a very kind and gentle man indeed. Weeton Cornflakes.?- Terry Butcher
The peccadillos of his pontificating personality are of no consequence to me since we are all human and different. More often than not, these can actually be quite entertaining or amusing. But what set my fuse alight was when it became very apparent that he had crossed the line by contacting the HIbs before (in one way or another) he had informed the club of his strategy or intentions. That was against the rules and if any fan thinks that is right then welcome to a "no rules" environment and chaos wrapped in the dissipation and subsequent dereliction of duty and loyalty etc.. Especially when the Management of the club had treated him fairly and squarely and rightly would have expected to have been taken into his confidence as a minimum. The flaring match that set alight my second fuse was his insults to both the Management and fans of ICT by sitting in the stand with the Hibs' management at the first game against ICT at Easter Road as if the ICT people had never been fair to him or guiven him his chance to shine in the sun.- PFA Manager of Year Nominees
Yogi by an Irish mile. Tremedous achievement this season.- Going to the final ? From where
Humberside Dude Interesting co-incidences :- 1. I have my Scottish bank account (RBS) in Burnside, Rutherglen. That's where I worked before emigrating to Canada. 2. My father as born at Goole very close to the Humber river. Know either location? Have you heard of Blacktoft, also very close to the river Humber? - Iain Vigurs
