Very tight budget; therefore the club has to be very selective.

Moyes has an interesting background. Perhaps a Glesca Keelie? Learned to live by his wits, and very hard worker.-- has a temper too, sigh, just like a Scotsman.... probably will do just fine.

Well we can look forward to seeing his face minus the stress creases in 6 months. Just as I remember that of my father after he retired at a good age having run his own business in Inverness for many years.

That's a fitting end of this thread --- the last three posters exhorting the absent fans to get down to the park and support a fantastic team after a fantastic season. Why was the crowd so low--saving their money for the last game of the season? There is more joy to come chums--just watch this space.- It's only a game

I wish! Meantime , back at the ranch, I am not particularly looking forward to tonight's ice hockey game in Vancouver ---Canucks versus the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the playoffs. Having been beaten 3-1 here in Vancouver last Wednesday, with our star players, Daniel and Henrik Sedin, being almost anonymous, we have little but hope and a turnaround will be an unexpected bonus. Mind you, the hockey is hell-for-leather and the pace was ramped up so much in the second period (out of three periods) that I quite often lost sight of the puck. That period was a blistering success for the Canucks as they dominated but what I saw during most of the game was that when Vancouver got the puck the young players of S.J. were on them in a flash whereas when San Jose got the puck their opponents seemed to hesitate to go in for the block and then paused for a think--"hmmm shall I go in or just wait". With so much at stake for both Vancouver and ICT, if the team is hesitant it just seems to be a harbinger for disaster Oh well, my feelings are still the same for both teams. We love you so do your best and let the leaves fall where they may. S.P.- Team fer Muvversmell ?
Hogg needs more wee games before he will be ready for the SPL and certainly games like ICT have to face in the next few weeks. I've always said that attack is the best form of defense. I team under siege has to draw back. Motherwell will be very dangerous if you hang back and let them come at you. The Vancouver Whitecaps have been criticized heavily by Scarlet in recent weeks for their "pass back" and "pass sideways" approach by the defenders. Consequently they have lost games because forward is the way to the goal, not back. They were more direct yesterday and showed more urgency and drive and persistence yesterday when Dallas came to town and so managed a draw against the best team in the North American soccer League. ..and that despite going 0-2 down. I think that Terry will have the boys up for this one but they must play with flair and confidence to have a real chance of success. It should be a good game however and I hope you get a great crowd.- old inverness football photos
Where's the co-op now? Sigmund What a stunning collection...so rare and beautiful reminders of the past .eh ? I looked up 1938 because it was the year I was born and, lo and behold, up comes East Fife of all teams. After my return from my 2 -year stint in the RAF (National Service) I was sent to Leven (and bought a house in Methil) by the Royal Bank of Scotland and followed East Fife for about 3 years. In 1938 that must have been their heydays because I swotted up on the team and found to my astonishment that once they were the best team in Scotland and burnt out their players by taking on too many (lucrative?) matches in England where they were, apparently, in great demand. Another reminder of the old adage..."there but for the grace of God go I. Nowadays East Fife barely gets 500 people into their digs in Methil and I think they may have moved from Bayview Park. Anybody got any updates on the team? Thanks.- Andy Shinnie to Birmingham City
Well, if he is going to help BRUM shinny up the table he will have to shake himself out of his lethargy. Eh? But, whatever, we all wish him well --he did ICT a good turn and played his part in getting us to where we are today.- Cheerio Chuck
Diesel in their tanks? Why, they put it all in their Vats to cover up the streaks of their fraud...- 3rd? Who would have dreamt of that in 1994!
If we do get into Europe I sincerely hope that the support at Tulloch will be on the increase next season. This team , and Terry, deserve it. Who WOULD have thunk it..eh?- ICT -V St Johnstone
Yep! The Vancouver Whitecaps don't drive to the byline either and hence Kenny Miller in the centre left position can cry out all he likes but he will never see the ball driven hard across the goalmouth in the near future. And The 'Caps therefore have lost their last two matches. Sounds as if the Caley Thistle players are jaded.- Hibernian -V- ICT
For anyone who is still interested, Kenny miller scored Vancouver's only goal of the game last Saturday but they still lost. he looks sharper fitter and more aggressive. So would I on such a huge salary...- Replacement Keeper?
Didn't Tuffey come from these pairts.....?- Hibernian -V- ICT

One would need to be Tel-epathic to figure this one out.- Ooooooohhhh Gary Warren
- What we all knew
Well he is only 28 so no doubt he is learning his lessons the hard way. Doesn't mean to say that he is a horrible person though...eh? Just a bit too mercenary perhaps. But then, if he is from abroad why would he sign for a large club like Rangers for anything else buta large pay=packet? Go figure.- No SPL fixture this weekend? Come to EEP!
- Drummer?
Try Drumlanrig...you never know?- Did Adams really say that?
Well, it looks like we all seetherough him eh? What a peculiar person .. If we complained as bitterely about all the bad decisions given against us by refs in this ,or last, season we would have no tears left in our yeux-es. Adams is a silly wee nyaff and I, for one, am getting tired of him. In my mind is that time when Rossco had a perfectly good tackle described as a terrible foul by him on the Rangers back just when was he was boring down on goal and, as we recall, they got a penalty out of it. Terrrible biased decision since hewent for, and got, the ball as clean as a whistle.... Onward and upwards. Top 6----what's next?- Confirmed: Top 6
