For example, the contentious issue of the placing of cameras on the goal line, which is simply a no-brainer to anyone with common sense, is now delayed for another year or so whilst they offer excuses only for non - action. Neanderthals with nothing better to do than dump on Terry. who can't fight back without incurring another fine presumably. OMG

The Vancouver whitecaps are off to a very good start as well Scotty. They have won their last two home games and Kenny Miller scored a fine goal to win the last game against Columbus Crewe from Ohio. What has struck me this term is the fact that the pace of the MLS has increased well over that of last term and finally the emphasis seems to be on going forward and not passing back or sideways at the back. That game was quite frenetic and exciting so the MLS this season looks like it will continue to make significant progress all round. The Crewe are a good, very hard-working team and they never gave up which bodes well for their future too. Some very exciting players are being brought in from overseas too. In particular we now have some Japanese guys who art fit and skilled so who knows what lies ahead? Another 21,000 crowd at home too who were very noisy all adds up to one thing-- atmosphere, success and future progress. Aye.

It was very uplifting--a step in the right direction, no less. Exciting even. And a damn good effort. Hopefully a kick in the pants to some stay-at home fans. Some original thinking and skill there and that is a bonus.

Getting in a bl-w-up doll for Terry seems a very novel idea . Should brighten up the away bus anyways.

What we all have to remember I think is that "It's never over until the fat lady sings". If we ever forget that all you have to do is look at County's record. ---coming from absolutely nowhere and look where they are today. Our team will still need a supreme effort to get where we want to go for next season and beyond. If we wallow in the defeatest attitude that says ""The other teams have now sussed us out, etc, ..blah, blah.." Well, it's now up to Terry and the boys to change the tactics to concentrate on scoring .Our defence is great but we need to find that something extra to score goals or we can't get that elusive 3 points. I like Davie's very positive post and hopefully the Inverness fans will come out in droves from now on.

What stuns me is how well they have done as a complete Newbie in the SPL? Must be doing something right. Or just got lucky..The real test will be how they do next season probably.And whether they have the staying power to remain int he SPL and continue to do well. The very thought that above average players would even consider palying for a team in the Highlands in a town where the population is about $5,000 (?) is incredible.They must be getting a great wage, that's all I can think? Anyway it is good for the area so good luck to them I suppose.

When Dods was in the defence there appeared to be less goals scored against us. Is that correct? As I recall he stood out like a sore thumb because he was noted for marshalling the defence around him. Like the rock-y fulcrum around which the team turned. Is Warren like that? Or is he just very good at his own job?

Sorry bu t Barry has lost his pace so whether or not he would, or could, have been good for ICT is a moot point.

Wonderful idea --provided our new aquiree has a bit of polish about his demeanour and play. And provided he is willing to wiork hard in training such that Terry the Terrible relents a wee bit and opine.." Manfer--thanks for including the highlights!. For some eason I can rarely seem to find them on U Tube now, witghin a reasonable space of time after the end of the match. Based on these highlights alone this match was winnable. Why is going to the byeline now either impossible or not seen as an option for this ICT team? Up against a capable defence like that of Celtic is it such a bad option?

And the band played "Believe it if you like". Since when has injured pl;ayers etc stopped Celtic fielding a team of good players? My prediction is that they will go for it right off the bat and try to wrap it up before half time.

Not a bad crowd. I watched it on the T V. Spain are too fast, too clinical and too accurate in their passing so the other team has a hard time getting possession. Frankly it's too lop-sided and boring. It's basically a masterclass in control and passing but it lacks enough passion...go figure.

I wish I had a penny for all the twists and turns of my life that were never remotely expected or could reasonably be foreseen. One minute you are up and another you are down and wondering what hit you. Truthfully, the older you get the more tiresome this kind of turbulence becomes.Sometimes I have an insane longing for the pipe and slippers. Smile.
