    So nothing confirmed?

Is it the pitches by IRA / Rollerbowl thing? Hopefully that comes off.

It’s confirmed but the deal of which we are getting a slice of gets their funding once ground has broken

Not heard anything further about the IRA after the initial  mention I’m afraid!

What is it he's done? I'm not doubting your sincerity but what is it exactly? In general terms he's presumably helped steer the club through Covid and that's to be commended.

Maybe he's moved mountains and brought in hundreds of thousands of investment (and as is standard the fans will be in the dark). I dunno and I don't recall seeing anything about all the great work behind the scenes. So I'm happy to hear about them.

Not my place to announce it, but I’m sure the club will once they have received the money which, is substantially more than a few hundred thousand pounds.

Gardiner needs to go out and find investment (after all that is what he is employed for and there is very little evidence of that happening).

I think this sums up exactly how much you know about what SG has done at the club.

    As I say, he’s worked wonders….

The club seriously need to look at the impact that SG and JR are having. I fully believe there roles are not having a Positive impact. I see it as expenditure a Championship outfit don't require. Surely the club learned from the Foran contractual situation? I was hoping that Dodds would of walked today as the club clearly don't have the finances to sack him. Maybe the club have ambitions to go part time like Arbroath.

What’s this based on? I’d argue without some very key business deals Scott Gardner handled we wouldn’t have a club to support.

We have ex Forest left back Daniel Fox and ex West Ham under 23 Striker Jahmal Hector-Ingram on trial.

Hopefully that means signings are imminent because it's ridiculous hoe after EIGHTEEN days we've signed nobody!

Are you sure they’re both on trial?

Gardyne had a valid contract until the end of the season.

He did nothing to breach that contract. What could the club have done to move him on earlier if he wasn't willing to go ?

That is being discussed in public…….

Good to see consistency in releasing the minutes for the 'recent' meeting.

further two weeks later.... still nothing.

I assume those who are empowered have asked the club about improved communication.....?

All down to the agreement between ICT and Celtic when Ryan left us. Bournemouth seemingly raving about him. Let's hope he gets promoted and hope we get more cash.

Don’t think that’s right. Our clause was/is for ‘20% of any future fee’  which means if Celtic were to receive further future fee’s for Ryan we would be due 20% of them.

We will be facing probably the best player in the division in Liam Polworth.

A Premiership quality player who remains, with all due respect to Daniel McKay, the second best player to have come through our youth system.

    Ryan Christie?

I’m assuming this collated email address is being used to streamline communications into the club, is it also then to be used to streamline communications to the supporters trust who, I reached out to in March and have yet to receive a response? F6E5F1A4-C4BA-489C-BA82-24637FFBECD4.thumb.jpeg.388485d322333a378b228d5f247cb67b.jpeg

Rather hilariously this still hasn’t been responded to via Twitter or the forum.

Many thanks for posting this, Robert.  As stated in the article, a summary of discussions from the 1st 2 meetings will be published by the club in the next 10 days and if anyone wants a bit more detail after that is published, I will do my best to provide it.

This a very welcome and positive development.  There has been a lot of criticism of the club in recent years over what is seen to be poor communication, and this initiative provides a regular platform for some constructive 2 way dialogue.  Clearly a focus group meeting cannot involve everyone who may want to attend, but we have set up a new email account of admin@ictsupporterstrust.org and would encourage anyone who has any general questions, concerns or ideas which you would like to be raised at a focus group meeting to send them to that address.  I will collate the emails and liaise with Scot Gardiner to bring appropriate items to the group.  Whilst not everyone can attend, everyone can be involved.

With John Robertson and Board Director Gordon Fyffe attending meetings along with the CEO, this is a great platform to ensure that the club is listening to the concerns and ideas of the fans.  Fans  coming through the turnstiles are the lifeblood of the club and therefore it is important that the club understands what will bring people to the ground and what make them stay away.  Equally, it is important that the club clearly communicates the reasons why it can't always deliver what people would like.  The creation of the Fans Focus Group is a really positive initiative in enabling this 2 way dialogue, but it will only be a success if the club is made aware of questions, concerns and ideas and discusses them with fans' representatives.  I'm glad to say, the first questions have already hit the inbox - so keep them coming!

Peter Mutton - Chairman, ICT Supporters Trust

Poor communication from the club, the ‘Supporters liasion officer’ and also the supporters trust, who I haven’t heard anything from at all since at least pre-covid

To be fair his stats dont back that up, must've been the only defender who was cool calm & collected and believe it or not 'brilliant' that year, as we gave goals away like it was going out of fashion.

Probably more to do with the fact our a manager didn’t have his coaching badges or practise set pieces at all…..

Kevin Mcnaughton barely played for us, I sincerely hope Broadfoot manages more than 14 games in the coming season.😏

Every minute he did play I thought he was a cool, calm and collected defender and was brilliant to be fair.

Thing is Brad, albeit a car crash, was at least playing for the shirt ... Kirk is hanging onto his career for one more year and the money. In his interview he really didn't seem that bothered.

Some assumptions being made here! Kirk hasn’t kicked a ball for the club and already isn’t playing for the shirt!

Amazes me how negative some of our Fanbase is, remember Kevin McNaughton? Joined us at the end of his career and when he played his influence and experience was unbelievable to see on the pitch (Albeit ending in relegation) - why can’t Kirk Broadfoot be the same?  The man has played in a UEFA Cup final, played in the championship in England and is now with us and I have no doubt will bring some much needed and missed experience.   We've beaten other clubs to his signing - we shoudl be proud of that not disappointed because of his age or 'how bothered he sounds in an interview'

If you back the manager back his signings too. Who’s to say another defender won’t be joining us soon too…..

Its a club focus group so not at moment.

Nothing tbh as supporters trust are involved

The supporters trust? I didn’t know they were still around…. Haven’t heard from them in over two years!

Yes this is something the club are working on to better understand fans ideas, concerns and needs for next season.

the group covers a wide demographic of fans so we will hopefully get some good information regarding fans needs or desires when attending a game.

I’d expect the club to share more after our next planned meeting.

Who's part of this fan action group?

    What’s wrong with bus seats??

Personally I’d have retained the pink theme given we seemed to perform better in it.

Looks like Carson has had a haircut.

The pink shirt is becoming our third kit for next season

We will just have to agree to differ on the impact of introducing a little additional capacity for a short period of time.

Impact to me and you? Nominal.

health and safety and the SFA? Massive.

  20. 43 minutes ago, Kingsmills said:

The suggestion is only to utilise the West side on a very temporary basis to get a few more fans in while restrictions remain.

That won't alter the status of the ground in any way.

It absolutely does. If we add seats it’s a cost (not cheap at all) otherwise if we allow standing we have to alter our license with the SFA and as it’s standing would lower our stadiums ‘rank’
