  1. Late calloff, midweek replay? Let's hope so...
  2. Anyone think the likelihood of Rooney accepting a move to Russia could be affected by the bomb at Moscow airport?
  3. Does the news that Rok Group, owner of Tulloch, has been placed in administration this morning represent a serious risk to ICT? Clearly it's not likely to have any positive impact, but is there any immediate or longer term downside?
  4. The disappointing (if not necessarily surprising) thing for me is how quickly we've lost that "winning habit" momentum from the second half of last season, I'd naively hoped it would carry forward despite the increase in standard of opposition and give us a better start to this season...
  5. He was in several papers yesterday as well, big features talking about the Cup Final and how great the future would be for County. So it would appear he's expecting to be part of it...
  6. Champions! SPL here we come again! :D Tremendous job, congratulations to the team and the management...
  7. Planning to be there...
  8. Too bad Alan Combe wasn't playing for Killie today by the sounds of things....
  9. I'm with Naelifts and Bridgender on this one. Well said!
  10. I'd add my thanks to the shop staff for my experience this week. I'd been dithering over cup final tickets for various reasons. Finally called the shop late on Wednesday afternoon. The helpful lady who took my call expressed some concern over whether the tickets would arrive in time (and I had some concerns myself but elected to go ahead). She told me the post collection had already been made, but said she would go home via the post office and post them herself. Evidently she did that, because they arrived yesterday morning. Another small example of the shop staff going beyond the call of duty, and offering real quality service.
  11. George Merlot and I will be in attendance. Give me a "C"!
  12. Good for Don, he's off to Japan in the Scotland squad. Would it have happened if he'd still been at ICT?? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...als/8290548.stm
  13. Well by all accounts he didn't contribute much in the last match, so let's hope you're right and he bangs in 2 tomorrow...
  14. MartinICT ate the baked ham. Raw.

  15. Anybody who was at the 3-0 home game against Kilmarnock last April (at least I think it was that one) will have tremendously enjoyed giving Alan Combe dogs abuse, to which he was daft enough to respond - adding to our entertainment and mirth. To be fair he put in a few decent stops but showed some dodgy tendencies too (not helped by his defence being abysmal that day) but we should take every opportunity we can to wind him up....
  16. The BBC commentators seemed to think he was lucky not to be sent off at the time...
  17. Just saw the highlights at last and I nearly had a tear in my eye as the penalty went in! (Sounded like the commentator enjoyed the moment too.) Tremendous stuff...!
  18. Weren't some of the comments after the Partick match that Lionel couldn't play in the cold? That seems not to have been the case in Saturday's blizzard...
  19. Others have come and gone while you've been with ICT and you've always been right up there amongst our very best players - and a firm fans' favourite. Best wishes for whatever you do next, and thanks for the good times. Hope to see you back at ICT again...
  20. I?d like to see Rooney given a run of games ? he looks more hungry, does more running and links better with the wide players. Obviously, he?s not proven as a goalscorer, but neither is Barrowman. In my view, Wood did much better than expected on Saturday and caused Celtic's defence some problems. He needs to work on his first touch though as too many times he got himself in a good position around the edge of the box but lost the ball by just failing to control it. He looked more assured once Rooney was on with him.
