I don't think Black should be pushing forward either....again, we have others who are better at that than him, and I think he is better as an out and out central midfielder linking back to front, or as a defensive midfielder.

Correct....no Duncan. Get Duncan within range of goal and we all know what we can do, aside from that he can be far too negative (first choice is pass back, and only when he has acres of space does he look forward) for a team that need to be out there pushing forward at every opportunity and doing it quickly to put pressure on the opposition. Proctor is a better option as he's far more versatile, even with him out I'd probably prefer to see someone like Vigurs get the call. Keep Duncan on the bench for when we're a couple of goals up with 10 minutes to go and we want to waste time sending the ball in the wrong direction.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on whether or not Brewster deserves praise for sending a text and shaking a few hands....personally I don't see it as having gone above and beyond his remit as the 1st Team Manager and it has to be a slow news week if people are getting excited about it. I certainly don't think it should be something which steals the limelight from the performance of the lads in Dublin last week and I'll not even get started on the fact that this is the first we've heard of the news...nothing on the official website and nothing in the press (that I've seen) is a pretty pure show on the part of the club PR department....again.

Still waiting on the 3 or 4 signings to strengthen the squad we were told we would get once Marius had been sold....that could at least have been seen as progress and justification for the sale. Forget who it was that said it first....but it's certainly looking more and more like us just "making do".

Was the U12's who won their age group. The U13's were beaten semi-finalists in their age group. The event has been running for 5 years and we seem to do well there. I recall seeing a snippet about it somewhere in the press a couple of weeks back where it said that ICT were considered as being among the strongest participants. Think we won the U13 and U15 events at this tournament last year. So, to give Credit where it's due, well done to the lads involved and the Youth Coaches etc who are doing great things with the ICT players of the future.
