Our next four games....
Anything less than 12 points and Brewster should be sacked to give the new manager a chance to deal in the transfer window :crazy07:

Will you now admit...

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday thread
I don't think it does any harm to have players giving each other a kick up the butt every now and then provided it doesn't become a personal thing and get out of hand.

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday thread
Match Highlights Clicky on YouTube Duncan has hit a few of those type of shots this season and has been unlucky not to have scored more. The Bayne goal is also a great strike and very "instinctive" which is something I've often thought Bayne lacked, so all credit. Both penalties looked very soft...but again we have a referee who bottles giving the red card for denying a goal scoring opportunity. I've often thought that as a team we were far to "gentlemanly" when it came to gamesmanship, especially when it seems to be common practice for every man and their dog to be partaking these days. It's not something I like to see, but their comes a point when you have to realise that you need to be a little more streetwise with regards to these things and give as good as you get.

Manager of the Month
Aye...the St Mirren fans like to dish it out on P&B, but they don't like it when you try to get it right up them.

Will you now admit...
Never doubted his ability...just wasn't convinced he was the best option available. As we'll never know what anyone else would have done that I can never be proved wrong What I will concede however is that Brewster has the team performing fantastically and way beyond what I would have hoped for regardless of who had got the job.....can't say better than that!!!

Manager of the Month
I don't think coming back from 2 down to beat Celtic and scoring a last minute winner against Hearts could be classed as "Going about things Quietly" :015:

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday thread
I actually meant to say against Hibs....things were a bit different against Celtic as we were a man down. Anyway.....what a result, and it makes a change for us to be scoring last minute winners instead of losing them. Every week we witness improvements in every area of the team. Been a long time since we've seen an ICT ream playing with such confidence, not that long ago we would have been throwing every man behind the ball and settled for a point, but not today :001:

Hope he knows what he's doing, thats an odd one when you are 2-1 up away from home We did similar last week....forces Hearts to keep players back and prevents them storming forward in any great numbers.

Deano's Away
A lot of fans had unreasonably high expectations from day one as he seemed to be immediately tipped as a replacement for Dargo before he'd so much as kicked a ball. The only thing that should have been expected of him was to give his all and try and fight for a place in the squad, and seeing the progress he's made with his own personal fitness during his time here I'd say he was doing just that. It just wasn't the right club or the right time for for the lad. He was never going to get his opportunity ahead of Niculae and with Wyness and Bayne also battling for a start he was going to have to be something a bit special to get any length of time on the pitch for the first team. I would have perhaps liked to have seen him stay till the end of the season when he may have got a chance if the situation permitted to see what he could really do, but we don't have the luxury of being able to afford to have too many players kicking about on slim hopes. Like any player, he deserves a fair crack at the whip in getting games and he's being crowded out with us. And like any club we have to keep one eye on the purse strings, so it make sense to free up wages to allow us to strengthen in other areas. Good luck to the lad...will be keeping an eye on the press to see how he gets on.
