  1. Richie Foran is NOT out for the rest of the season and the club have no idea where that story came from.

    Prawn Crackers
  3. Two questions.... The Agenda makes reference to Resolutions, but none are included? The nomination form asks for a signature to confirm agreement to being bound by the Society Rules and Board Membership Policy but neither of these things are included, nor any information as to where people can get a copy? Please advise.
  4. Not having a go at you as I appreciate you are actually one of those trying to do things for the right reasons, but there are others on the board who are longer serving and should be more aware that the above does not satisfy the minimum requirements for giving notice of the AGM.
  5. Off topic.... but I've not seen the advance notice (should be sent 8 weeks in advance) or compulsory notice (should be sent 14 clear days before) for the AGM. Has it been issued? I've also not seen any request for nominations which should be sent out with the advance notice, 8 weeks before.
  6. Development payments isn't/wouldn't be the issue with Miles. I believe his club have a 1 year option (you know, the things that the breadmaker say aren't binding) which means we couldn't sign him on a pre contract. There's probably some deadline by which his club would need to exercise that option (or not), so it may be possible to do something before the end of the season....but I'm not up to speed on that. The football contract world is changing massively....and I don't think it will be for the better. Football Associations are moving more towards only being interested that dates and eligibility are in order.....with anything beyond that (terms) being deemed a matter between clubs and players which they will not get involved with.

A few of the 'experts' on this topic seem to have missed the statement from Greg's agents on Wednesday....

What are you on about? I think you'll find my criticism was in regards to a tweet being wrongly accredited to the club and nothing whatsoever to do with people's thoughts on the Greg Tansey situation.

Or maybe people should just stop with the knicker wetting......assuming they're more than 3 years old.

People really should check before making assumptions.....as the club DID NOT post the comment. I posted the comment, and not on the club account, in response to several Aberdeen fans asking if they would also be making an offer for the guy who does ICTFC's Twitter account.
  11. I suspect OCG is right....but maybe not for obvious reasons. It's thought/believed/rumoured that a sizeable proportion of all County season tickets are "gifted" by Global to staff, friends, people they do business with etc. Since their head office is in Inverness then the owner of all those tickets has an Inverness address, even if the people who use them may not.
  12. There's no requirement for USH in the SPFL anymore...just "adequate winter pitch protection". I know 1 premiership club no longer has it and believe there's a second. Also rumours that the boiler shed for the USH at County is empty.

Does someone else want to explain to ForzaCaley why they've just made a tit of him/her self?

Yup, they are on what's called a "Development Loan" which means they get experience and can still play in Dev League matches. Expect to see us making more use of this in future.
  15. It's not really being pedantic. As things stand, the SPFL (League) don't really have a firm set of rules for dealing with issues such as this and for league matches it falls outwith the responsibilities of the SFA. For Scottish Cup matches it's very different as it alls entirely to the SFA to deal with any such issues and they do have a firm set of rules in place for it. To what lengths they will go in terms of issuing sanctions is anyone's guess.....however, IMO, with them looking to bring sanctions against Celtic for events at the Stranraer game, then the SFA will feel (rightly or wrongly) that they also have to take action against others....even though the issues elsewhere are a fraction of what they are among that set of supporters.
  16. Except it's not the league who have cited the club, it's the SFA as they deal with these matters when it's the Scottish Cup.
  17. If you're talking in terms of immediate catchment area for comparative purposes with other clubs, then a figure in the region of 50k to 55k would be about right.

From what I can gather, it's a Hastie & Dyce pie that the OP is complaining about as that's their van next to the North Stand.
  19. The stewards were there to ensure crowd safety. If the club are to take a "lenient" approach to rules on standing, then they also need to ensure they cover their butt and can react in proper fashion should anything happen as a result of that. As far as I can ascertain, they simply kept an eye on things and didn't interfere unduly with those having fun in any way as they were given no need to do so. All in all, a good job all round by fans and stewards alike.
  20. I concur. Is this a new group or ones who have moved down from further up in Section E?

Strange how some people's views in regards the quality of the product on the pitch run in direct correlation to their views on the quality of the pies. Wonder if there' a psychological or scientific connection?
  22. Young teens protesting against "Modern Football" does rather amuse me. What experience/knowledge do they have of any other kind?
  23. Bottom line is this.....whether you agree with the law or not, if you break it then you run the risk of a police record, fine, fbo etc. Your actions also place the club at risk of sanctions from the SFA, Police and Local Authorities. The upper end of the scale for fines from the SFA alone is £100,000....and Local Authorities can remove safety certificates (closing stands and/or stadiums). Obviously that's the extreme end of the scale....but even a much lesser fine would hit us heavily. The club don't set the law, but they do have a duty to ensure they play their part in maintaining it....so if you think the law sucks, take it up with the law makers.
  24. One of my enduring memories of going to the football as a young child was dodging the streams of urine...and making sure you weren't being urinated on. What a joyous atmosphere that created, shame you don't see it these days. Pesky authorities spoil all the fun.
