  1. Confirmation that the new kit is available from JD Sports Inverness Store from tomorrow. Kenny Cameron (Chairman) has asked that I pass on his apologies that, due to circumstances beyond the clubs control, the on-sale date has been delayed until now and to say that he has had assurances from the highest level that there will be no repetition of this going forward.
  2. So where is all this money coming from to pay for your grand plan?
  3. That's not speculation...that's calculated risk/decision making and I agree with the theory of what you say. What is being advocated by HC is that the club spend money they don't have and/or increase annual budgets on the basis of one off windfalls.....something that we, as fans, have been critical of in the past when it looked like the club may be following such a course of action (e.g. Niculae).
  4. Speculate : To take a chance on something, or some course of action, without any firm evidence to support it. Yeah, that sounds like a really intelligent way to run a club/business
  5. The Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC 2015/16 Kits is now available to pre-order at JD Sport by going to http://www.jdsports.co.uk/featured/Inverness/
  6. The club use one of, if not the, top legal firm in the country for preparing contracts (among other things)....I'd happily wager everything I have that if they've cleared something for inclusion in a contract, then it's legally sound.
  7. I don't think anything has changed, really. Longer deals tend to be offered to players who came in on short contracts and earned them...and that still appears to be the case. It's just that the turnover hasn't been that high the last few seasons and we've been more used to seeing extensions than new signings. There's also this "options" thing, which I don't like the phrasing of....especially when it's the club who holds the option. Instead of 1 year + 1 year option to extend, it really should be 2 years with option to break after 1 year.
  8. I'd love it if we had 10% of the finance and resources that Celtic have....as it would be nearly twice what we have at the moment!!
  9. If memory serves, Dundee posted loses of somewhere around £3 Million in their 2014 year end accounts...some people never learn!!
  10. You may be on to something....sneaking in round the back without anyone noticing is their speciality.
  11. The gate wasn't left open....they cut the chain to gain access....twice!!
  12. They are gone....and in one of those "couldn't make it up" moments....they have now set up camp in Dingwall.
  13. Bring back the BENI....!!!
  14. DigiSport Romania may well make it available in the UK. As nobody (to my knowledge) over here has purchased the rights then we'd not deny them permission if they so wished. We hope to do our own live commentary via ictfc.com/live but that is very much dependent on what kind of internet/4G connection we can get over there. Should hopefully have an idea on Thursday morning when we head there to check things out.

Maybe the type of player that's needed to operate alongside Lopez or Foran to allow them to play more of a poacher type function?
  16. Ask me at the end of the season when we're getting ready to lift the Europa League Cup.
  17. That's maybe a little high. The 500 figure is based on the 350 or so that we know are travelling by the coaches being organised by DBJ. About 50 on the club flight are fans and non-working club personnel (directors & partners etc)....rest of the flight is players, working club personnel & press. We allowed for another 100 arriving by means unknown (i.e. a guess). You're right though, even at that it's pretty phenomenal. Especially when you consider our average away crowd for a game in the central belt is about half of that. Just think of how many we might take to the away leg if we make it through and end up with West Ham...even though it may prove about as expensive to travel for that one as it is for Romania

There are advantages to keeping transfer dealings secret. Yes but only before they are secured. Or when you don't want to give the opposition any more notice than you have to..!
  19. Programmes can be purchased online at http://www.curtis-sport.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=64
  20. Communication with them has been a bit....eh....challenging. 500 is the number of fans we expect to see at the game, but having talked with one of their guys last week I believe the area being given to ICTFC fans actually houses about 800. The club are using their "VIP Seat" (I so hate that term) allocation for those travelling on the club plane, so they aren't included in the above figure.
  21. First time (I can recall) them doing it was when we reached the SPL. Take-up was good due to us having to travel for home games and most people took up the option of converting them to full season tickets when we returned to TCS. They were then offered again the following season and take-up was low. They've been offered at least twice since then, with take-up being low on both occasions and some of those who took them being people who had previously had a full season ticket (i.e. less revenue for club). The last time it was talked about at a fans meeting the person made all the same comments you are now and the Chairman pointed out that the reality had never backed it up.....however, should he become aware of an increase in demand for 10 match ticket options (or similar) then he would certainly look to provide them. The reason I remember that is because I was the person pushing for it...

When I left the stadium earlier they were trying to tie up the last few bits and pieces for the itinerary in the hope of getting it out before end of play....if they never managed that then it'll not be far off, so probably Monday morning.
  24. The "No Standing" rule is an SPFL thing....nothing in the UEFA regulations (not that I can find anyway) about having to be seated.
