Replacement Striker?
Maybe international players in the sense that they ply their trade in a country different from birth ... Anything more than that is stretching it a bit in the case of Prince and non-existent as far as I can see for Vucanovic ... But I take your point about our existing squad maybe not all having startling career stats. Appreciate we have a budget to operate in but given we are an established top 6 team, can we not start to dip our toe in slightly more ambitious waters? Without being overly simplistic, if we have the smallest squad but comparable attendances with 3 or 4 other SPL teams, are we being slightly over-cautious? That website I referred to is well worth a browse btw ... Astonishing source of up-to-date data even to refer to if nothing else ... Foolhardy to dismiss so readily IMHO. Your point lacks logic. Existing budget only allows for small squad...if we are to pay more, then we would need to shrink squad further to be able to afford it. If there's a bit of spare cash, then it's use needs to be viewed going forward. You can't base long term spending by way of increased wages on one off, non guaranteed, cash injections...how do you cover the wages next season without it? We're not awash with cash and being "over cautious" is better than being overdrawn with debt/costs we can't sustain...that would be foolhardy! Think you should change your Avatar. Maybe appropriate in your past life but nowadays you seem to roll over, believe everything your told and then defend it with your all. Are you offering to tickle my belly? Jesus!!!!! Please, please don't offer to do that. You'll never get over it. Never get over it!!! You saying I have a big belly?

On another day we would have won that 3-1 and everyone would have been raving about the great play all over the park. Unfortunately, lady luck shone a bit brighter on Killie and had a big hand in their first two goals. Such is the nature of the game sometimes and I think it would be a bit unfair to go looking for scapegoats.

Willie Miller is a clueless sheep apologist. I thought our passing was pretty slick today. We seem to passing the ball forwards more than earlier in the season, and some of the ball retention today was breathtaking. If only we could convert a bigger percentage of chances created. A few years ago I did some looking into conversion stats and realised that the "big" teams percentages weren't any greater than others (quite the opposite in some cases) it was that these teams were putting in a far greater number of shots/shots on target.....and that's what we seem to be doing more regularly this season.- St Mirren -V- Inverness CT

- Communication by the club
Again, it's a matter of resource....and planning that resource around an ever changing match schedule. We used to tweet from the home matches, but as soon as the SFA started insisting on evening games in brighter months and then winter weather set in, meaning matches started getting shifted around (location, date & times) then it became impossible for volunteers to maintain their commitment to assisting.- Communication by the club
Some of the Social Media stats would blow your mind...as they still do mine. e.g. The clubs official twitter averages just over 1 Million impressions a month. Impressions being the number of times another twitter user views one of our tweets.- Communication by the club
I know what the OP is talking about....it's the additional "behind the scenes" stuff. Whilst we do want to do more on that front, it's time consuming and outwith available resources at the moment....and every time I free up a bit of time or resource, something more important has a habit of filling the void....but we'll get there. (keep an ear out for the relaunch of the podcast...soon). With that being the situation, then whatever we do has to tick 2 out of 3 boxes. Those boxes being "Fun", "Useful" & "Informative". People also have to keep in mind (and in fairness most people do get it) that whilst players/manager could be considered "public figures", they are entitled to their own space and privacy....even when in/around the stadium. In my experience, when you demonstrate that you respect that fact, then people are more willing to work with you on the stuff of real value or let you "intrude" a bit behind the scenes and capture some of those extras and bend the 2 out of 3 rule by doing something purely for chits & giggles. - St Mirren -V- Inverness CT
