  1. --------------------------------Esson-------------------------------------- ------Proctor---------Duff----------------Munro---------Hastings----------- --Wilson-------Tokely------Rooney-------Wood------Black---------Imrie----- Subs: Fraser, McBain, Vigurs, Barrowman, Djebi-Zadi, Duncan, Cowie Time for a change me thinks, Esson in goal, Proctor moved to right-back where he plays best, Jamie Duff moved in to centre-back next to Munro with Hastings at left back. Now, this is where it gets interesting. I suggest ICT try out the formation Man U are currently using. The 4-6-0, attackerless formation. What happens is the six midfielder/attackers pull the opposing defender out of position and attack with a front four and it can also be used to fill the midfield. Wilson's in there as he is still good going up and down the wings and can also be moved into attack. Tokely is in an attacking position that he plays in most of the game when playing as a right-back. Wood is in there for a bit of height as well as Rooney, who seems to know where the goal is. Black's in there for his passing skills with Imrie at left wing. With this formation, the players can change periodically depending on what is happening and others can attack and hold back at different times. If anyone watches the Man U game later, this'll be probably the formation they'll use. Simple. Come on Brew you know it makes sense.
  2. I see the FIFA Club World Cup is on right now. Watched the two Gamba Osaka games and thought they were alright. Man U will almost certainly win it though.

    Cafu

Link Maybe ICT should be trying to get him when he finishes in England. Go on Brew what are you waiting for?
  4. I wouldn't be suprised if it's Zander. Is this really right? The sort of numbers I've seen bandied around on here were very different i.e. a multiple. I'm assuming it wasn't Brewster's choice to let him go, anyway, more financial. Well more issues I would say. Our scoring record is better than everyone else in the bottom 6 apart from Falkirk. CC has to share the blame for not replacing Dods, too. Brew only had a day or so in the previous window (though I agree, with hindsight at least, it should have been a bigger priority this summer). True, but it wasn't for the want of trying. They tried Stuart McCaffrey and it didn't work, they tried some Austrian bloke and it didn't work, they tried Gianni Joinville and it didn't work, they tried Richard Hastings and it didn't work, they tried Phil McGuire and it doesn't work, and now they're trying Proctor at centre-back and it sure aint working. They also tried Steve Watt, who I thought was really good against Arbroath and he completely disappeared. Brew needs to make a competent centre-back his number one priority in January.
  5. Link What the heck were these parents thinking? They must be nuts, and should have the kids taken off them. The cake shop was dead right not to put the kids name on the cake, though it must be a shame for the kids with pinhead parents like that.

    4-4-2

It's hard to say. Some say that future formations will be non-symmetrical and have arms on them, like this: -----------------GK-------------- ---RB----CB-------------CB---LB- ------RM--------CM--------LM--- --RW---------------------------- --------RF-----------LF---------- Another one could well be what Man U are doing now, with a 4-6-0, with an attacking front four which also pulls the defenders out of position. I still reckon that the 3-5-2 may still benefit ICT though, especially if a big centre-back a la Dods is signed in January.

    Deja Brew 2

Maybe not so much "back on here", but he was logged in for a wee while the other day. I for one hope he comes back.
  8. What! No story to go along with it. Ruined my day.
  9. Fraser wil always be highly regarded be some cause that save against Celtic. Unfortunately that was when he seemed to reach his peak and hasn't been that great since. He never seems sure of when to come out and stuff like that, so he's a Division 1 keeper at best.
  10. Just to stop anyone wanting him to come to ICT, John Collins has just been appointed manager of Belgian 1st division side Charleroi.

    Deja Brew 2

I miss Sophia now she's no longer around. Her posts were bizarre to say the least and she seemed to disappear after someone cottoned to the fact that she was actually a bloke and/or Bobby Mann's mother. Johnboy on the other hand disappeared for a while but popped up again the other day.
  12. I may be wrong but he's on loan at Elgin That's what I thought! I saw a guy on the pitch with 29 printed on his three quater lenths on. Maybe that's because it wasn't him. It was more like Kyle Allison filling in the goalie coach.

  15. Just wondering what colours Caley and Thistle away shirts were. Anyone remember?
  16. Why not go outside the ground in the middle of the night and write "BREWSTER OUT" with paint in big letters. Brew'll be able to see it when he parks the car. He might get the message, or then again he might not.
  17. This decision by B-Rooster, proves to me how is utterly useless he is. Great striker, horrible manager. He simply has to go now.

  21. This gaelic garbage is a load of nonsense. The roadsigns, the primary school and all that is an absolute insult to people in Scotland who struggle to pay their taxes, the 1 in 4 kids in poverty and so on, but the Gaelic gang would have us believe that we all love it dearly and would hate for it die out. WRONG. I couldn't give two hairy hoots if it dies out and probably neither could that majority of Scots because if they did it wouldn't be in the state it's in. It's a waste of money and a waste of time.
