Apparently Celtic are after Cowie as well.
-
Well that's it then. He's been one of the best ICT players ever but the Brew treatment has put an end to that. Shame really cause I thought he was great.
-
Something else I was quite surprised at.. Lionel's pace :o - Why have I never seen it in a proper game?
That's the reason why would play him up-front or just behind the front two.
-
And talking of cyber fans, what happened to ILUVBREW and his pro-Brew thread. It just disappeared.

Trying to justify awful language,
Oh come on, there's people dying in this world and all some people can compain about is words. I for one find that rather sad.
This coming from the person who at the bottom has "Brewster must go". People are dying in the world and all you can worry about is who manages your football team. Shame on you.
:thumb04:
Oh dear that's that not very nice is it. We all have to have a bit of fun in our lives. Mine is football. Yours obviously is complaining. And secondaly this is a football forum. I know this bit isn't but a large part of how I feel about my football team is in my signature. Understand know? It's really very very simple. Am I ashamed? You bet I am. I'm really really really ashamed. So ashamed I don't want to see the outside world ever again. Maybe you should do the same.

Im getting pi55ed of.
Look what I found in the Andy Barrowman thread. Looks like Reedee is no saint herself.

you can all go and boil your heads!
:o
I'm hugely offended. You deserve to banned for life with terrible, unintellectual and most of all, down-right offensive language such as that.

On the first day there were 2 complaints. The next week it was 5,000 then it was 15,000, then it was 30,000. How many lonely human beings are there out there? It was widely overblown and quite frankly I couldn't care less. And anyway, no-ones asking the big question here and the true scandel in all this. Where on Earth was Andrew Sachs?
-
Was this game behind closed doors and you lot were looking throught the gates, or could you go in?
-
Cowie would be no real loss. He's not the player he was when he first signed. Still rather he stayed though. Black on the other hand would be a massive loss.

Swearing shows a complete lack of intelligence,
What utter nonsense. The only people who say this are the PC brigade loving smearing is wrong mob. Another one that often gets trotted out by these nuts is "Swearing is used by people who have a small volcabulary". What a load of rubbish. You often find that the people who swear most have a rather large volcabulary. Now go back to writing complaints about stuff you never even heard.

I wonder if this press release is to attract the new manager (whenever he/she comes along). A typical "Hay look we've got money you can spend!" kinda thing. Follow the money indeed.

David Proctor is a good right back. He is also a fairly right winger but he is not now and has never been a centre-back. Versatile yes, centre-back no. Of course playing him in this postion was Brews plan all along. What others may not notice that in Proctor's first spell at ICT was 18. A number that is used all over the pitch usually as a substitutes number. When he returned he was given number 29, a number he was given cause there were none others left. This season the backfour chopped and changed. Phil McGuire went from number 3 (a number normally associated with left-backs) to the number 5, a number normally associated with a centre-back, the position he usually plays. Lionel Djebi-Zadi was given the number 3 when he signed. A left backs number for a left back player. David Proctor was given number 4 this season. Darren Dods played as number 4 previously. He plays as a centre-back. Steven Watt was given the number 4 when he signed in season 07/08. He is a centre-back. Proctor was given number 4 this season and is playing as a, yes you guessed it, centre-back. Proctor played as a centre-back to fill in for others last season, but as a stand in only. This season Proc seems to be 1st choice centre-back. He also played this position in the two reserve games I witnessed a couple of months ago. He isn't the tall enough or strong enough to play this position and I truly hope Brew doesn't see him as the full replacement of the great Darren Dods. Come on Brew, get it sorted.

I was offended when the fans started to swear in the north stand!
It was right next to the family section and It wasn't fair on the younger fans who sit in the north stand.
Oh wow! Swearing is SO offensive. Everytime I hear a swear word I just want to punch someone. It's so so offensive. Oh my god I hate it so much. I personally think that they should bring back hanging for swearing. It's just SO bad.

Brewster is a bad manager but I dont think he's that bad!
Eh? That doesn't make sense. :thumb04:

I see Robbie Williamson has resigned as Elgin City boss after a poor run of results. Coincidence? I think not..
-
I don't why some people folk are so big on giving Barry Wilson the managers job. Sure, he's big on ICT but aint got much experience (as of yet). I can see him making a good head coach/assistant manager some time in the future and maybe manager in the long run but I know if I were ICT manager I'd give him a job just now in coaching or something. I wouldn't mind seeing a Robbo/Christie/Park combo tag team for the rest of season, and if it works I wouldn't mind seeing Robbo back (doubt I'd be jumping for joy mind) but a short term contract till the end of the season will Christie and/or Park as assistants would good for now me thinks.
-
Or what about Lothar Mattheus? Hee's at some wee team in Israel I think.
-
What about Hagi? He's ICT scout anyway, so maybe a bit of persuasion and he might come. Wages might be a problem though.
-
Will Brew be manager of ICT this time next year? Logically the answer is no but by our luck....

--------------------------------Esson--------------------------------------
------Proctor---------Duff----------------Munro---------Hastings-----------
--Wilson-------Tokely------Rooney-------Wood------Black---------Imrie-----
Subs: Fraser, McBain, Vigurs, Barrowman, Djebi-Zadi, Duncan, Cowie
Time for a change me thinks, Esson in goal, Proctor moved to right-back where he plays best, Jamie Duff moved in to centre-back next to Munro with Hastings at left back. Now, this is where it gets interesting. I suggest ICT try out the formation Man U are currently using. The 4-6-0, attackerless formation. What happens is the six midfielder/attackers pull the opposing defender out of position and attack with a front four and it can also be used to fill the midfield. Wilson's in there as he is still good going up and down the wings and can also be moved into attack. Tokely is in an attacking position that he plays in most of the game when playing as a right-back. Wood is in there for a bit of height as well as Rooney, who seems to know where the goal is. Black's in there for his passing skills with Imrie at left wing. With this formation, the players can change periodically depending on what is happening and others can attack and hold back at different times. If anyone watches the Man U game later, this'll be probably the formation they'll use. Simple. Come on Brew you know it makes sense.

Here's an idea, why doesn't CTO produce "Brewster Out" etc print-off signs like the one to advertise games so people can bring them to the games to show their displeasure. Just a thought.
