  1. It's time for all fans to get behind the club regardless of what we feel about signings, selections, tactics and those who were allowed to leave our club. Let's try and create an atmosphere this afternoon that can lift the players. This is when a football club most needs it fans not in the good times (of which we have had more than our fair share as ICT fans).Out of adversity can come strength and all that. C MON THE JAGS!

    Stuart Duff

I don't mind Duff (too much) as a player but am still so down (and a bit puzzled) that we have watched Grant and Russel go and are trying to keep him.
  3. 'forces of evil' oh for any sake. We dont care who wins the spl(if its not going 2b ICT!) We win for ourselves. the same as every other team in Scotland does stuff all your conspiracy theories. we look forward to giving your lot a doing next year as well. hopefully at ibrox again. As the song goes we're not blue we're not green we support our local team.if more old firm fans tried this Scottish football would be in a much stronger state.
  4. So chuffed with celtic result but am still gutted that Duncan and in particular Munro are being allowed to leave.
  5. Completely agree. Both of them have contributed so much and can still do for ICT. Not often that managers change their minds though . . .
  6. For me and a lot of fans I know of varying teams Christmas and New Year games are great. Catch up with old friends get out of house etc. usually big or at least bigger gates and a good atmosphere.Always scan the fixtures to see who we have got around Christmas. Can think of two recent pre Christmas tynecastle fixtures which were a great day out with good visiting support and atmosphere as a good example.Maybe a break in January or February.Summer football would also cut into international tournaments.
  7. good grief. Some of the negativity of posters on this forum beggars belief at times. Yes the last couple of months has not been great. But we are holding our own punching well above our weight in the Premier League. Those of us who remember standing at kingsmills or telford st with a few hundred others wondering if the 'scottish' league would ever deign to let the Highlands in really can see Ict are living the dream.Lets all pull together and get behind the team. Rant over.
  8. I'm sorry to go against what appears to be be the prevailing view but I don't particularly want to watch football in the Summer. I love the thought of getting home to Inverness over the festive season and catching up with people that I haven't seen in a year before and after the games. Check attendances accross the country and the Boxing Day/ New Year fixtures are generally some of the highest attendances of the season. People are happy of the excuse to get out of the house post Christmas. Witness the fast selling of edinburgh new year derdy tickets recently. A lot of those calling for Summer football are directly involved in football. To be sure they probably do want to see a better standard of pitch and conditions but undoudtedly they also see the lure of a 'normal' Christmas Day also. This is not to mention what on earth happens to the Summer season if our national team were to qualify for a major tournament.
  9. chances for both teams. Would have probably settled for a draw in the end.if you had said 10 years ago that we would match the old firm home and away in a season it would have been dismissed out of hand.Even a year ago we were what 5th in 1st division. Unbelievable times. A chance of 3rd place next Saturday if other results go our way this afternoon . . .
  10. ah Rooney! Heads up we can still win this game
  11. Just to add congrats to all at ICT for a wonderful achievement in bouncing back to the SPL.Well done to all those supporters who 'believed' way back in those bleak mid table mid winter months. Have to admit I was a bit agnostic myself then. Anyway, before you think that this should be added to another congrats thread can you all get praying/hoping/believing that the airlines get flying normally before Thurs. Got a mate who is flying in on Thurs from the States for the Ayr and Dundee games. Support above and beyond the call of duty, so here's hoping he makes it. I'm sure there are other supporters in a similar position so good luck to you all.

    A New Song

Evening all. Me and my mates would like to propose this song for all the die hards(and even big game hangers on) heading Falkirk on Saturday...lauding and remembering our fine manager's humbling of the 'mighty' glasgow rangers on their own turf... to the tune of ' winter wonderland-there's only one john hartson/alan shearer/etc' ...' there's only one Terry Butcher, there's only one Terry Butcher he was once a hun, but that's all done we're walking in a Butcher wonderland there's only one Terry Butcher, there's only one Terry Butcher he was once a hun but he's loads of fun (not the best of lines!!) we're walking in a Butcher wonderland there's only one Terry Butcher, there's only one Terry Butcher... there's a lot of other variations that people could juggle with (some of which I didn't want to put on an internet forum!) but come on guys let's give it a go on Saturday and continue the push to try and widen our set of distintive songs or we're going be stuck with five hand claps forever . Have a great Saturday night, and we're now in a relegation battle we're winning with three other team. Happy daze, which I could never envisaged pre-Butcher a few weeks ago.
