  1. If only we could call on Samuels or Lodivica
  2. For all vocal dissenters nobody is proposing how given our finances and likelihood the club are not directly paying for Ferguson (and assume Bollan) we as a club would afford a new manager and who they expect to turn us into world beater given the situation. Since the season started the club have shed wages and liabilities from the manager, DoF, backroom staff, senior players and parted out on loan almost all fringe players. That's a pretty comprehensive list of cost cutting measures.
  3. Maybe that's not a choice open to him. Nobody wonder why we clear out high earners and fringe players, then all the non first team players we would pay for are shipped out on loan presumably to clubs that cover their costs and we bring in guys who are from much bigger clubs with more robust finances then see they need to play every game regardless of ability?
  4. Going into this one with hope and enthusiasm after our recent run. Goalless draw but we have a shot on target in each half
  5. Unlike many others on here, I disagree and consider the Battery Farm not a failed idea (granted others have been questionable), but a failed bureaucratic administration who will be overturned and look foolish in due course. Sadly I also believe that if the proposal had come in from elsewhere (organisation) it may well have been approved such is the nature of politics and personalities.
  6. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of the club and how this is approached, this is an example of the backwards nature of the council and how projects that serve their interest and vanity get prioritisation. Rejection of a battery farm proposal only will enhance the 'small minded heathens' profile that exists with respect to the Highlanders. Net zero, green transition and therefore battery storage is coming and on that basis full expectation of Scottish Government approval is expected setting the precedent that not just this one but several will be built locally. With BS facilities being granted approval throughout Scotland, most of the justifications for rejection will be dismissed as inconsequential and others just pushed to develop startegic solutions. Wont be long before every town/city has BS facilities whether the HC like that or not.
  7. Or use his contacts and profile to front a consortium or individual investor to take control
  8. Genuinely think we will be kept afloat until season ends then see whether there is investment and cost cutting options otherwise take the administration rouye and associated penalty and points deduction for next season. Admin now would certainly relegate us.
  9. Should fence it off and charge folks entry to zip their sledges round mounds of dug *****
  10. Some may disagree but other than deals for ridgers or cammy, devine, harper then its keeping the youngsters we have out on loan. Lots of rebuilding to do
  11. Think that is the plan. Going forward I suspect we will again see a large number of loans possibly from much bigger clubs who are unlikely to care whether we contribute to salaries so long as we guarantee game time. Financially that model would make sense given where we are? Reckon it'll be a revolving door every window unfortunately
  12. Tbf, we probably need more defenders
  13. I'm going to keep revisiting this. We are essentially having a crap season and been utter abject at home, yet somehow with around quarter of the season left we are only 6 points behind a morton side getting plaudits. (We have 8. Some teams 9 games to go of normal season) All hypothetical it's possible that if we had achieved more in the Dodds tenure earlier this season we could be fighting for a promotion play off place. Keen to see how others expectations for remainder of the season align - score a goal at home - beat raith and get back to normal service - beat morton or at least derail their playoff hopes on the last game of the season. The salty tears would be great. - Avoid relegation play-offs
  14. You'd think a few handshakes around the lodge and all this would get resolved
  15. Tbh they should be closing stadium road between the roundabout and along to under the bridge except for official car parking, disabled and bus access. The speed cars pass both before and after matches with pedestrians about its got to be luck nobody has been injured or worse.
  16. One concern is not just the additional defenders but that they seem to be no help at our set pieces and haven't introduced any additional ariel threat during our limited opportunities in the opposite box. The quality of crossing doesn't help but why are we crowding the goal line rather than having runners into the 6 yard box to attack the ball?
  17. For a guy who doesn't go to games you don't half come out with some absolute *****, but guess it's to be expected.
  18. Low bar there. Samuels, Lodivica, sorry to say Pepple too are just miles away even at this level. Can't wait until next week's must win, goaless draw.
  19. Big game day. Big excitement for it. Drab draw to match the pre game build up.
  20. Lots of criticism, sniping and still conjecture posted here on the matter yet seems when the opportunity presented some stayed silent.
  21. Makes Saturdays game now a battle between the 2 teams with the best unbeaten runs in the league
  22. Try contact the club directly, there could be a platform for online participation?
  23. So long as we get to beat morton again last game of the season to crush their play off dream whether it's us or others that benefit.
  24. Would rather we still had Oakley and his 8 goals this season. Quite glad to hear he may be out injured though.
  25. Don't recall many getting much time from the last regime either tbf
