Spot on. The club should just lie down and accept NIMBY councillors who prioritise sledging over 3 and a half million for a local business without kicking up a fuss.

The Council have a lot of integrity and really have the best wishes of Inverness at its heart. You can see this from how they gave us the UNESCO registered bridge built on the river ness. And thank god they had the resolve to ignore the 99% of residents here who wanted to save the ironworks. And voted to turn it into a hotel.

God bless the councillors. Who know better than us. Our club should be ashamed of daring to speak out against our betters

And the ironworks site will now go to rack and ruin as the hotel company has pulled out and the Ironworks company have turned down an offer of using the building again after stripping everything out!  Our Highland Council is working wonders for the City and the Highlands.

I heard in the pre match interview for Ayr this weekend the Czech on trial is a forward playing for a English team. Any idea who he could be?

No idea but he is injured at the moment

Rovers currently one up, Partick now only 9 points and 5 goals better off than us. Certainly gives Morton some hope.

Gives us some hope if we can start scoring goals at home :hiding:

Thats going ahead with or without the battery farm. All on the back of an SFA/SportScotland Grant(s), with further input from the Highland Council (surprising, I know).

I think the SFA/Sport Scotland grant was to provide drainage and not for the whole project but might be wrong.

Possibility of going part time if this all fails. Significant cash flow problem. As one example. We lost money for the Broomhill SC game as they took 2 fans. But we split the gate.

    Thanks for the feedback lightlamp2,

That's a shocking example using the Broomhill game as one example, what did they expect?  If we had played either of the old firm away there would be no complaints as Buckie Thistle made a lot from their game against Celtic did.

I am sure that the Buckie Thistle board will use their money more wisely than our club has done.  On saying that I hope it works out for our club of we are fecked!

  7. A very poor February without a win!  In our loss to Queens Park the referee Euan Anderson picked up the worst performance so far for the season   Another loss at home to Hibs in the Scottish Cup followed with 3 draws home to Partick, away to Arbroath and home to Dunfermline.

The winner for February is again Alex Samuel :clapping: with Cameron Harper and Cameron Kerr very close behind.

The PotY standings are now Nathan Shaw leading, second Billy Mckay, third Nikolay Ujdur, fourth Max Anderson, fifth David Wotherspoon and sixth Cameron Harper.

David Wotherspoon still hanging in there but Cameron Harper is closing in and Alex samuel is picking up plenty votes.  With a good start to March I hope we can get a couple of home wins to follow on!  Please keep voting.

  8. Club Statement.

The Chairman of the club Ross Morrison and the Board of Directors would like to invite Caley Thistle fans, shareholders and sponsors to an open meeting regarding the club's Battery Farm application on this coming Wednesday 6th March 2024 at 7pm in the Highlander Lounge at the Caledonian Stadium.

The Chairman said in advance of the meeting, “Having spoken on numerous occasions in the past re the critical importance of this project to our entire future, including most recently in person at the last ICTST open meeting, and following the bewildering behaviour of certain Highland Councillors in seeking to overturn a democratically lawful decision to award the club with planning permission for the ICT Battery Farm, I feel we must enlighten our fans re just what has been going on in relation to this most crucial matter and I will answer all and any questions relating to the Battery Farm after we give our presentation and I hope as many folk as possible can attend”.

The meeting will be lead by Ross with the club's full board and CEO also in attendance.

The meeting will consist of a full presentation from the Chairman giving the latest on the club's Battery Farm application with an open question and answer session following the presentation for those in attendance.

A great away day when no ICT fan really expected 3 points but went in hope of at least 1.   Wow - what a game, from Billy’s goal in 77 seconds, there seemed no way ICT would go home without points.   This is why the ICT Travel Club continue to run buses to away games, these days are a joy and why we are ICT fans.   Thank you to all the players especially those who were “in the wars” and have bruises and stitches (Alex) to prove their endeavours.  I truly hope the injuries sustained today aren’t too serious.

Glad you enjoyed it lizi, it would have been good to be there, I just hope we can get a decent home result next week after that performance today
