This would seem to be one of the biggest days in our history in terms of off the field activities.

After all the negativity, criticism and derision on this thread, I think there should be some recognition of the achievement of the club and its partners to have firstly conceived this remarkable high benefit, low risk deal, and then to push it through and overcome the considerable planning permission challenges.

Morrison and Gardner have played an absolute blinder here, haven’t they?

I have to agree Yngwie, I had my doubts about this project thinking it was all hot air.  I hope it all goes to plan now and works for the benefit of our club and the community.

The Community Trust has issued an update on the Hub project. Within the article is this:

“We are busy identifying other sources of funding to ensure we can realise our goal of providing our city with a first class community asset.”

    A link to the update:

    https://www.icttrust.org.uk/community-hub/

On reading that they have secured funding for the drainage but there is a lot more to do.  The whole plan sound great but they will still require a lot more money and there are very little public funds.

  3. An improvement from December with 2-0 loss away to Airdrie, away win at Ayr 1-3, lost at dome to Dundee Utd 0-1, home win against Broomhill 4-0 and a good away win against Raith Rovers 2-3.

A new winner for January Alex Samuel :clapping: with Danny Devine, Cameron Harper and Morgan Boyes very close behind.

The PotY standings are now Nathan Shaw leading, second Nikola Ujdur, third Billy Mckay, fourth David Wotherspoon, fifth Max Anderson and sixth Morgan Boyes.

David Wotherspoon will drop out of the running now.  Alex Samuel has started to pick up points and with all our new signings things might change or will the leaders be able to get enough points to hang on?  It is up to you please keep the votes coming in.

I also wonder if they've told Gordon Fyffe asI received a reply to an email sent to the SLO mailbox from Gordon Fyffe just 2 days ago when he still considered himself to be SLO from his email signature.

Sounds like they are running around like headless chickens

  5. Hibs would have had someone watching our game today and we will have had them thinking that they will come up here and win but the pressure is all on them and we seem to play better against the bigger clubs.  Even after the game today I think we can win this game!

Yes it had to happen due to their terrible league position, yet he did so well last season, and this season in league cup and Europe. One of my all time favourite ICT players.

Yes a great player for us and I remember Bryan Munro the programme editor saying he was a live wire in the dressing room, I feel sorry for him but I am sure he will find something else.

Seems like a decent signing, which along with Samuel, sounds like a [temporary] improved squad, now if we can just get Eberechi Eze, that will sort the midfield out [yes I'm being silly with that last one, can we tempt Polworth back?]

I don’t think he would come back if he was offered a chance as he got so much personal abuse from our own fans.

  8. It could be that snorbens was from a poor family and they could not put a shilling in the meter so there was no lights on and that's why it almost seemed to be dark and eerie  and the poor boy was kept in the loft  he is fortunate that he survived to become an ICT supporter

The guitarist in Wolfstone was Wayne Mackenzie who I believe was one of the main ones setting up the Ironworks in Inverness but have no idea if he stayed Temple Crescent.

    Two sides to every story,

    - If your favourite restaurant started serving crap food would you still go?

    - If your preferred clothing brand suddenly dipped in quality would you still buy from them?

    - If your favourite band brought out an inferior album than previous efforts would you listen to it much?

Football is another 'experience' product, and when your club no longer have any consideration for you as a customer and serve up poor quality product you are entitled to give it a miss.

Duke you are right about food, clothing and music I would change but as sure as hell I am not going over the bridge to watch County

Might sell a few more seats 😆

would be nice to see a decent crowd in for a change.

I hope so including all the young ones that were in the north stand for the Dundee United game plus more.  I would expect Hibs to have 1000 plus so all we need to do is put on a bit of style and win the game!
